SDXL Version Now Available!
I've also been working on an SDXL Lora model based on the orange peel textures. I've tested it on animals and clothing, and the results are very promising! For your creations, I highly recommend using the SDXL version. The Pony version still has some over-fitting issues, which I plan to address and improve when I have more time.
This is a preliminary experimental Lora model based on orange peel textures. While it performs well on certain objects, it may not always function as intended on others, such as biological entities or vehicles. Compatibility can be a bit of a hit or miss. Perhaps I'll refine it further in the future to improve its compatibility.
šāāļø Apology Noticeš
After numerous attempts, it's clear that my Pony Lora has several flaws. It struggles to accurately generate specific objects, characters, and creatures. Setting a high weight often results in the desired elements not being generated, while a lower weight leads to less pronounced orange peel textures.
Additionally, watch straps frequently appear, and there's a tendency for strange objects to be included. When generating objects, human figures often intrude. Furthermore, compatibility with certain Pony checkpoints is subpar.
As this was my first attempt at training a Pony model, I didn't conduct thorough testing, leading to these significant issues. I apologize for inconveniencing everyone during the Daily Challenges with this unsatisfactory model.
Description
The SDXL version performs well in my tests; I've tried several drawings, and they all render correctly. If you have any drawing needs, I recommend choosing this SDXL orange peel version.

Why can't I see the drawings? š³
I got it. I wish the developer good luck
I've created a new SDXL version, but there seem to be some issues with the event system. If you're unable to participate in the Daily Challenge, please manually add the Pony version in the Resources section to pass system verification.
I had just downloaded SDXL version to try it (thanx for effort preparing SDXL version). My comment is - name of downloaded SDXL safetensors file contains name pony - which confused me :) Anyway - according A1111 it is SDXL 1.0 :)
You can't upload a new version during the challenge. It will not accept it, it's been that way for awhile.
If I'm not mistaken, Pony is one of the versions of SDXL. It is possible to use a Pony LoRA with SDXL Checkpoint. Many winning posts have been published this way. Another method is to use both LoRAs to validate participation. Manually adding an unused LoRA is against the rules (1) (2) of the daily challenge and can potentially lead to a permanent Contest ban from participation. Manually adding a LoRA is a tolerance in order to publish externally-generated work.
Two strange facts:
1- The resource link in the challenge article leads directly to the SDXL version. What causes problems according to the tests?
2- The "submitted entries" are validated without being rejected, even after verification, which should mean that "it's good", but not really.
Note: The rules are not very specific and are open to interpretation, very little moderation has been shown and the rules are not updated to this day, flaws have been found in them. And, in the past only Flux users have been banned, from what I've been told, during SDXL challenge.

Don't sensationalize this. Manually adding resources is the solution I've gotten multiple times from customer service when I didn't receive rewards in the past. Their reasoning is that with limited customer service staff, they can't handle everything manually, so they rely on automated processing.
If you encounter a situation where the system can't correctly identify your modelāfor instance, if you're using Forge or ComfyUI, or if you're facing any system issuesāthen you need to manually add the resources yourself. They're not obligated to verify if your images have Lora applied. If you don't manually add it, you can't participate in the event. Don't expect customer service to re-issue rewards or think complaining to them will help. Doing it yourself is the more practical approach.
The new SDXL version is named "Pony", just so you know.
@joyy114: I don't. The focus is on "an unused LoRA".
It's a good model, but it could be improved. I love it because I love orange; I've been using it a lot lately.
