Sometimes people help to fix Lora if the author posted opened metadata (personally I do not know much about these).
Sometimes I just make a couple of simple tests like ...
- Create one picture using Lora.
- Create a second one with the same settings, but without Lora.
- Compare the results: did something change? Did Lora do what is supposed to? Whether Lora made a picture worse or better.
In this case:
- Lora really helps to make cakes on a regular Pony model.
- Adds the details of the cakes on some other Pony models (but here is a matter of taste)
- Little will affect the generations on SDXL.
- Does not affect some SDXL models at all.
In general ... it seems to me that if the model is already able to draw cakes, then Lora is not needed. If the model does not know how to draw them, Lora will help, but not much.
