Never have played through Tactics. Did get through A2 though.
If you ever do play it, I recommend the PSP retranslation, since the PS1 version was pretty shoddily done.

@EstelleBright4SMASH Your username tells me that you probably did play a game that I thought was a lot better than the more recent ones in the same family/series. One of the best PSP RPGs, actually.
@novowels It's totally gunna get re-released yet again just like Tactics Ogre did. Add in full voice acting and that'll be pretty nice.
@dita I love them all but for me it probably goes Erebonia, Liberl, and then Crossbell arc. I played Cold Steel first, so that was my intro into that world and it makes me a bit bias. Estelle is my favorite main character though.
Get the PSP version. The PS1 version is only desirable for the many ROMhacks, which are enjoyable once you play the you have played 1k hours of the original.
Also Tactics Ogre Reborn is on PC, same team. More refined formula (but no Agrias sadness)
