This LORA creates images reminiscent of 1980s and 1990s television shows for SDXL.
Strength values may vary based on checkpoint, but work very well in the 0.75 range.
Trained on phrases such as “Sitcom” and “Drama” in order to give a variety of different moods to characters and their surroundings. This LORA has a great ability of creating realistic backgrounds typical to television shows, such as living rooms and offices.
To add extra intensity to a dramatic scene, consider using the words “Night” and “Soap Opera” in your prompt for extra contrast, shadows and lighting.
Use the phrase “Looking to the side” or the words “talking to ___” in order to make characters face away from the viewer.
Facial expressions such as “Shocked” and “Smirk” are also fun ways to give a character more emotion.
It is helpful to add the words “TV screen” to your negative prompt in case random televisions appear in a scene, as well as things such as “ceiling fan” or similar phrases to limit the view of a ceiling in your outputs.
Have fun playing with different hairstyles, clothing & objects to bring your own fictional TV show to life!
Example images were produced using Forge UI, as well as the ADetailer model face_yolov8n_v2

Heads up for those who happen to use A1111 with the dynamic prompts extension: I think the double underscore in this lora's filename can cause parsing issues (fix is just to rename the file)
It'd be good if you could describe whether the backgrounds can be used without the characters. I prefer to use my own characters, and I was raised in the 80-90's, so the retro homes are relatable for me. But sadly almost every Lora for living rooms is of millionaires homes.
Honestly, I don't get the overall appeal of millionaire's homes. They look like a fancy place to visit, but completely lacking in soul or any form of human style. Just these empty square boxes. About the nicest thing about them is the swimming pools, and otherwise, the view you can see outside of them.
Side note, A good high quality plush carpet, beats the Fuuuuuck outta hardwood. It's so nice on the feet that it's like walking on a freshly cut lawn, but better cuz no random broken glass shards, and unlike hardwood, you don't need to sweep it every 5 minutes in order not to always feel like you're steppin on something..
