This Lora is trained on mostly real images and a few anime/illustration images (~99% to ~1% ratio) to keep it flexible enough to still generate in anime style.
Triggers (as of 3.3):
asian, asian_japanese, asian_chinese, asian_korean, european, european_irish, european_french, european_german, european_italian, african, african_east, african_west, latina, thai, arab, indian, iranian, native_american, polynesianNote: no need to use generalized and specific triggers together (asian and asian_chinese for example)
The lora can be used without triggers as a style lora (example image with tifa, aerith and yuffie in a group hug)Currently the lora supports the following races & ethnicities:
E.Asian (Japanese / Korean / Chinese)
European (General European / Irish / french / german / italian)
African (General african / east / west)
Latina
Thai
Indian
Iranian
Arab
Indigenous American (as of v3.3. Native American in older versions)
Polynesian
The Above list is for version 3.3
Please refer to the list of triggers for the supported tags for older versions
For version 3.3 (both Pony and Illustrious), I decided to try frequency-based tagging instead of the common "prune anything you want the model to generate".
So basically any tag that appears with less than 20% frequency gets pruned, as well as anything above 95% and anything that's insignificant enough to be considered as 'noise' such as 'mole', 'mole on breast', mole on face', etc.
It does make the model slightly less flexible, so possibly pruning under 10/15% could be better.Description
better anatomy and added new triggers:
Polynesian (mostly proof of concept due to lack of images for training, recommended to add 'headdress' to negative).
Iranian
European now includes:
French
German
Italian
If I find enough images I'll try expanding African next.
Will possibly break the lora into multiple smaller loras because training times are getting a bit extreme now.

Your model is amazing, please keep up your hard work. It's the only model that gives me really amazing and consistent ethnic results.
Thank you very much! will do!
I have a slight nitpick (and this could be related to UnicornCornucopia's comment) that the Europeans seem to be extremely heavily weighted towards black or dark brown hair. My use case is probably a little unusual in that I'm doing bulk generation and looking for variety between images (using dynamic prompts). Your LoRA lets me do that without having to do separate runs for different ethniticies which is incredibly awesome.
But I'm noting that hair colors are almost always black or brown. Obviously that make sense for most of the ethniticies but even when just using Eurpoean's, Blondes are basically non-existent and Redheads are extremely rare. IE a bulk run of 50 images, no other LoRA's, European specified, no hair colors specified, resulted in basically 25 with black hair, 25 with brown hair.
That's strange, I can't reproduce the problem on my end.
Tried to generate a batch of 20 and got 6 black hair, 5 brown, 2 gingers, 6 blonde, 1 pink

I'll try to look into it, but it would help if you could tell which version of the Lora did you use and with what checkpoint?
SBlaidd Interesting. v2.75 Pony, Cyberrealistic Pony
Lovely, but Latina Polynesian , Iranian and Arab are too European.
working on it
For the next update, I would suggest swapping from "native_american" to "first_peoples" (the Canadian instead of the US term for the ethnicity) just so it isn't potentially tripping over the "native american" booru tag.
I'll look into it
Thanks for the change. I look forward to being able to generate "indigenous american" characters now without checkpoints dressing them automatically like racist tropes of native peoples.
@Hartmont You're welcome! They'll still be dressed that way to a degree (feathery headdress and all) because many of the images I could find include those as well.
But it does help to put "headdress" or even "native american" in the negative prompt.
And hopefully I'll manage to eliminate the extra clothing entirely in the future.
