Did you reuse your flux dataset or did you recaption it for z-image? Would booru tags work better or natural language?
Reused my old data.
I’m currently testing a few of my old Lora data sets who used different methods to see what works best for zimage. I still got a lot of testing to do but I suspect it should be tagged much like the flux Loras.
@JaneB Thanks. I just threw my gelbooru tagged dataset in and it worked on both my tries, albeit with a few issues like i guess my training settings are kinda off so it burned in the semi-realistic style of the character, and i can't change her clothes, along with headwear rendered unremovable.
@sneedingonmyligma420 that kind of makes sense. For flux one of the method to train styles is with booru tags so if you used it for a characters with realistic images I guess it would also make the style stick. You can try to throw in a few images with other styles to help mitigate that.
@JaneB yeah i may just go over them, retag in natural language, and include extra images that omit the stuff that tended to get overtrained.
craziest part to me is how it only took under 3,000 steps to work well anyway lol. i'm shocked how easily trainable this turbo model really is.
@JaneB I have a pretty big update for you and anyone that may stumble upon this comment thread lol;
100% comfyui's lora loading for z-image is broken. very broken. or at least, my comfyui isn't updating correctly.
i'm loading my loras using CRT loras pack's recently created z-image lora loader, and it enables all my loras to work as intended. Including the character lora i attempted training, which looks significantly better than before. Still the issue of overtrained accessories but other than that, it seems many issues could just stem from comfyui not working correctly lol.
