How in the name of God is that a "Soviet Uniform"?
That's a typical soviet school uniform, may be it's not looking like it, most problem is, that's other arts is on moderation. Please wait for it
@222lry it IS looking like it, but for the rest of the world this is somewhat a maid uniform... which tells a lot about soviet education system.
@DagrenRod Mb if i rename to school uniform it'll be better
@222lry Yes, that is definitely better and a lot more descriptive for the general public I'd say. Thanks for clarifying!
@DagrenRod The white apron was part only of the festive uniform and was worn several times a year (white bows also relied on it - and all together it doesn’t look like meido).
The casual uniform consisted of a black dress and a red pioneer tie (although the tie was often left at home).
Well, all this was part of the everyday life of Soviet citizens - but the current generations can only look at anime and ... envy.
@DagrenRod Much like how you can tell from the uniforms that the goal of the Japanese education system is to make women into sailors.
@DagrenRod if soviet uniform looks like this, I guess I found the place I need to teach. Sensei is coming!
@Loping_Winner801 you mean it ISN'T?! (/me runs in agonizing despair!!!) ;)
Nostalgie. I was educated in the Soviet Union, so I confirm the authenticity of the images. However, it was a festive uniform worn several times a year. On ordinary days, it would be a black apron over a brown dress. What is missing is a red (pioneer) scarf for girls over 12 yo, or a small red star badge showing a portrait of a young Lenin on the left side of chest.

For those who don't know: Just do a image search on "Школьницы" and be ready to fall in love. This is my fetish now.
