Higan Zesshosai from Disgaea 7 : Vows of the Virtueless

While she obviously falls into the "strong fighter lives in hedonism, eating and drinking and fighting to satisfy themselves without care" trope, the whole "lost glory" theme of the game and her relation to Fuji and his family kinda implies that her behavior is partially caused by trying to escape now-painful memories of a better time. Agreeable spin on the trope, especially since this is just hinted at rather than explained in painful detail. Pretty nice for a serie like Disgaea where the stories and characters can be very hit or miss.

I thought she was cool.
