Some explanation would be good...

I also have had the same problem and it has been solved by undertaking the following steps:

1) in confyui crete the folder pulid inside the folder models;

2) goto the page https://github.com/cubiq/PuLID_ComfyUI because the file you are trying to install is associated with this github repository;

3) at this github repository you will find a link to the model pulid pre-trained model: https://huggingface.co/huchenlei/ipadapter_pulid/resolve/main/ip-adapter_pulid_sdxl_fp16.safetensors?download=true

4) downlod this model and put it inside the pulid folder created at step 1)

5) goto the confyui manager and and inside it to the model manager

6) there, instal at least one of the pulid models (the normal one and the one for flux) - I installed both. this step is very important because only by doing this confyui will create the pulid list of models. Later on you can go to the pulid folder and delete those 2 models if you so wish;

7) close the manager and refresh the confyui workspace. After doing this the node Load Pulid Model will recognize the pulid models and you will be capable of selecting the required model from the list.
