I am writing a book on a religious topic. I wonder how I could use the fruit of your labor.
I'm fascinated by early Celtic history, and I made this as a bit of a research project, but as soon as I did I saw the meme potential. There must be practical/academic applications for this tech though, but I'm too smoothbrained to see them.
As an artist who specializes in celtic knotwork and imagery, literally spent years practicing and drawing and sketching and getting heavily calloused fingers in order to create artwork in this style.. i want to hate this. I reeeeeally want to hate this. It's not fair that people can do this now without the pain and frustration and tears and sweat and long sleepless nights being driven like a slave by the muse.
but then i saw THIS and i fn lost it, i'm still laughing at it..
and yknow.. the fact that it's easier for more people to make stuff like this is BRILLIANT. Less time with pain and agony, let's get right into the FUN and Creativity and see what people can do with it!!
Well done sir. I'm glad you made this. And honestly, i'm not going to stop making what i make, but using something like this to play around with layouts and ideas before committing them to paper? HELL YES. this doesn't cheapen my art at all (yes i've heard other artists say that). It is a TOOL and i will USE THE HELL OUT OF IT.

(honestly, I would suggest adding in artwork from the Book of Lindisfarne as well, that'll help expand the imagery and style yet still keep it faithful)
A piece of handmade art is always going to be worth more than an AI generated digital image, and I say that as another artist. Hell yes AI is a valid artistic tool.
