Background
When I picked up sewing as a hobby, I thought about making models that could be used for fashion design. This is a first attempt/proof of concept of that idea. I picked mermaid skirts because they're very recognizable.

Alongside just making mermaid skirts, however, I wanted to try and have a little more power over the overall design of the dress. So I also tagged some other aspects of the shape of the dress to see if I could work with it.

So while this mainly focused on mermaid skirts and dresses, it also touches upon some other aspects such as sleeves and neckline, depending on what the source images I used had.

Usage
dsmermaid, dress is the bare minimum tagging required to see the model in action.
