This is a list of Cinematic Motion Picture Film Stock as it has been manufactured over the previous century. This wildcard was compiled directly from a listing on Wikipedia. A reasonable effort was made in several passes to incorporate manufacturers, use cases, and other functional characteristics as they were listed therein.

I understand that many (if not most) of the entries found herein are unknown to and therefore untrained and entirely absent from the various checkpoint models available through CIVITAI, however I wanted a thorough and comprehensive list for this purpose and I suspect that several things may still make this resource useful. Mention of the manufacturer and some of the accompanying descriptors in a prompt may still elicit an image with a desirable outcome. Some of these film stock formats may yet be incorporated, trained or merged into upcoming checkpoints, rendering their inclusion as of increased utility. Other people may also find this useful.

While a reasonable effort was made to compile this list with a functional degree of accuracy, I have only a moderate understanding of most of the minutia involved in this subject. If you notice an error or are otherwise able to provide clarity as it pertains any of the entries in this resource, please feel free to make corrections or share your observations as you are {able|inclined}.

This resource is sorted in the order as it was found on its source and is not separated into smaller or more useful categories (Black and White is mixed in with Color Film Stock). I did however choose not to separate the various formats by size (8mm, 16mm, 35mm, 65mm, 70mm). If you choose to examine the file, you will find that when a particular stock is manufactured in several sizes, it appears as a single entry with the size designation formatted to accommodate each available size as provided by the manufacturer: {8|16|35|65|70}mm
