I've decided to release my latest cigarette smoking lora as a whole separate model from my existing smoking lora because this one is more stable but fundamentally more limited. Use the cigsmoker trigger to activate and be sure the rest of your prompt has a woman in it somewhere or you may get unpredictable results. Example prompt: cigsmoker, a woman relaxing at the beach
I tend to use it with DreamShaper v6.31 and Realistic Vision v2 (as seen in the example images)
The dataset includes only women, and most of those women are very scantily clad (though there are no explicitly nude photos in the dataset). This means it will likely produce a character that is normally fully dressed suddenly wearing lingerie, or in a pose that shows lots of cleavage. That wasn't my intent, but it's hard to find high quality smoking images with fully clothed women in them. You can try having it make a man smoking a cigarette, but you'll likely be fighting the model the whole way, and it will try to gender swap your character into a woman.
This has many similar problems as my original smoking lora... multiple cigarettes in the mouth, or cigarettes don't line up quite right with the lips, etc, etc, etc. Unlike the original lora, it's bad at creating a cigarette in their hand and focuses only on images where the cigarette is in the woman's mouth. However, it produces a usable picture more frequently for me than my original lora. Hires fix will exaggerate and amplify the problems with this lora unless you turn down the denoising strength (0.5 to 0.6 usually).
Oh, and don't smoke. Smoking is bad for your health.

@Scottymac here's the best of my efforts, in case you're interested.
Wow -- I just ran a couple test and this is really very good! I'm seeing good mouth placement and the cigarette object itself seems to really solid i.e. 3 dimensional with the filter etc in the correct place (I had problems with this -- like the filter taking up most of the cigarette etc). Nice work!
I tried a textual inversion yesterday just for fun with more images and got better, but not great results -- certainly not as good as what you've done here (I probably need to switch back to a LoRA). I've got one last TI cooking right now -- I doubled the images by flipping them just to see if more images might help, but I'm doubtful.
@Scottymac Thanks! I'm just glad it creates a cigarette. My old Lora did some wacky things most of the time.
this is more like smoke woman lora
Hi @st55666977660 thanks for the comment. I'm not sure what you mean though. Are you having problems with the Lora? Can you describe what's going on, or post the output pictures you're getting?
This Lora probably isn't that great for anime base models, unfortunately. I trained it with Clip Skip 1, on the base SD1.5 model, so models based on NAI might look a little odd when combined with this Lora.
I do appreciate the feedback, even if it turns out that this model isn't for you, so thank you again for the comment! :)
Great job! Would you be interested in making a similar Lora with a specific brand of long brown cigarette: More 120? I'm willing to pay for your time and effort but you could make it public as you wish. I don't see a way to contact you but we can discuss more if you want to email me: [email protected]
