I'm not trying to detract from your work at all, but this is more about illustrious in general. What exactly does Illustrious have that Pony doesn't? I've tried to use a handful of Illustrious models and Loras and I 100% of the time get inferior results to Pony models (more amateur artstyle, simplistic backgrounds, skin and fingers merging and blending together more often than not, etc). After quite awhile of experimenting, I can't for the life of me figure out why people are flocking to Illustrious.
Pony is better with 2.5D and 3D render style pictures.
But overall Illustrious models are better for anime, 2D style, better background and better anatomy.
Illustrious generally performs better for styles, offering more concepts to draw from and greater controllability. In contrast, Pony struggles with effectively utilizing strength modifiers and negatives. Additionally, Illustrious supports a broader range of characters, often with more accurate representations of their original attire. Overall, in my experience, Illustrious outshines Pony in versatility and reliability.
@guy90 I also read somewhere that the Text Encoder Encoder for pony is messed up. It tends to have a lot of bleeding
@anon5522 I'm not sure, I don't really know the technical side of this stuff. What I do know is it works better for me.
@guy90 Same here. There's a "realism" illustrious out there. Maybe one of these days we get a versatile model like AutismMix but for Illustrious. Only time will tell

pony has a ton of prompt bleed and a lot of concepts it just doesn't know
As it already been pointed out but generally Illustrious can handle 2D art and anime better than Pony where tends to bleed and merge things like faces together even if it give it clear instruction.
I really love this checkpoint, it works so well with my loras that I don't think I'll be replacing it anytime soon, it's so cool! ~ XD

The model needs to win weekly bid to get on-site gen. I try to win each week costing me 8-10k buzz/week.
I didn't win this week with a 9k bid. Maybe next week.
Id say best model, it creates pretty wacky things that arent just in the anime style which is a breath of fresh air, hope it stays available.
