Do you have an example prompt? For me this lora produces images with a dark mood yes, but nothing like the examples.
Edit: Turning the strength up helped achieve the desired effect. At strength 1 this lora didn't seem to work, but at around 1.8 it was clearly producing VTM:B style images. Do you have a recommended strength?
