Is this anime actually a good watch? People do talk about this anime a lot

I would highly recommend it. The first "season" is 4 30 minutes OVAs so if it's not your vibe you can just not watch the full series. It's a really nice classic anime. I haven't seen all of the the full series but unless it gets really bad past the half-way point I would say it's a sold 8/10 anime.
