WAS Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell
A Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell Textual Inversion Faux Style
Not too thoroughly tested, I'm not too imaginative right now, and have a lot of TI's on my list I want to attempt in these awesome D&D/Heavy Metal styles from my younger days.
Usage:
Ending your prompt with the following segments is probably the best method. Name may differ for different versions.
art by WAS-VBart by [(WAS-VB):0.5] (Less effect)art by (WAS-VB) (More Effect)art by [((WAS-VB)):1.5] (Extreme Ultra Mode)... etc
Example Positive Prompts:
A portrait of a beautiful woman, art by WAS-VBa sprawling desert with mesa plateaus in the background, art by WAS-VB
Example Negative Prompts:
((afro, frizzy hair, sketch, line art, cartoon, holding sword, holding weapon))
Notes:
Has a bias towards doing hatching shading in the backgrounds, have no clue where that came from lol.

Sooooo great!!!! I already started collecting Boris Vallejo images to to do a LORA or textual inversion. Will test this ASAP!
Reminds me of the good ol' RPG sessions as well 😁. I tried a Larry Elmore LORA but the results were not very convincing.
Yeah, collecting images that are all within the same style, and not them branching out and trying new things is important. Cause even a few images in another style can pollute the whole thing, I think. For example, there is a hatching shading issue in this model. This is either from the 1 black and white charcoal image, or from the canvas texture of some of the scanned images (not digitally restored).
I would be enthusiastic in using another Boris Vallejo style-art Embedding for sure!
The more... the merrier. Best to train the A.I. to create amazing art .
I'm confused - aren't both these artists already in the training data?
Uhh, like most base data, it's sparse, not well trained on, and requires massive modifiers to get a good look.
Ex: https://prnt.sc/_RU_W0VqvDFI That's more base 1.5 art style then it is Boris Vallejo or Julie Bell. Color theory isn't there, face is generic, etc.
Awesome, fan of old Heavy Metal too... keep it up, do more if you can
10/10 Stars! **********
I can´t believe no one has thought of this before. Boris Vallejo style art is amazing. I still have all my "Heavy Metal" and "Epic" magazines from the 1980s and 1990s :) Bought all of his art books too
THAK YOU great friend !
I unfortunately lost all my Heavy Metal magazines. Never did get but like one copy of Epic. I wasn't allowed to order, so it was just what was available at the card shop or randomly at gas stations in the adult magazines (lol!)
More update please
