To be honest I didn't expect to update this quickly but I can't resist NoobAI's updated datasets. Artist tags also performs much better with less dependent on emphasis to achieve a desired effect. Overall it is an improvement of the already great model, Illustrous XL.
Tips for artist styles / characters
Similar to ILXL, just add in the artist or character tags and that's it. If you're not sure what to write for the tags, just search it on danbooru or here. See sample images for examples on how to prompt the tags..

Personally I still prefer the default style of the Pony version but the prompt adherence and style flexibility of the Illustrious XL is just too good to pass up. Prompting and tagging is also a lot easier than the pony version from what I've tested. I tried to replicate the look of the Pony version but there's just too much artist styles for me to do anything without messing with the overall quality, oh well..
Tips for artist styles / characters
Illustrious is a fine-tuned model trained on Danbooru datasets, so there are a lot of data on various artist's styles and characters. So you can prompt a specific style or characters without the need of loras as long as they have substantial amount of dataset on Danbooru and are not too recent. See sample images for examples on how to prompt styles..

Just like with my HomoSimile model, I'm trying to get that specific look that's between 'anime' and 'western art'. I went a bit easy with the LORAs to ensure better compatibility with other styles. So if you want to use a specific artist's styles it wont diminish the results.

What's new:

Heavily focused on 'bara' body type. Can still gen slim body with the right prompts.
Merged with the latest version of WAI for their updated datasets. The weight of the merge is pretty low so the effect might not be that noticeable.
Less reliant on quality tags.

I don't know what's going on but the prompts (with the same settings) that worked fine in v4 and v5 become very difficult to control in v6. The style becomes 'extra' and characters that are already big and muscular become x2 or x3 of that. The poses also become more random and awkward.
I've tried tweaking the prompts, but it doesn't help much. Any advice is welcome.
Yes, that is expected. v6 is a little different from v5 and v4, especially since I included WAI illustrious in the mix so its a bit 'erratic'. Check the 'about this version' tab for the changes. This version is also very 'bara' so if you're not into that, either dont include too much weight and other muscle related tags or just use the previous version. Check the preview images to see how I prompt them..
Having a ton of challenges with poses I want in V6, too. Haven’t had these in prior versions :-(

Firstly, check the 'about this version' tab for the changes in v6. This version might not be to everyone's taste because I'm mainly updating it for myself and my own personal preferences. So if you don't like v6, the older versions are still there.
Prompting it is also a bit different from previous versions as it tends to be a bit 'sensitive' so if you're using weights and other loras you might need to tone it down a bit. A simpler prompt goes a long way. v6 also leans slightly more towards NSFW, so if you want to gen artistic stuff I think v5 is still a better choice.
Also, as some of you may know I'm semi-retired from this site. This update is just as excuse for me to create a backup of my checkpoints so I'm not gonna do too much maintenance. If you have some questions feel free to message me but I can't promise that I can get back to you immediately, but I'll try to reply whenever I can..

@yeetgasm69 Right now, its just Civitai and Tensor. And I only upload to tensor if it was requested by someone. If you found my models on any other sites then they're probably being uploaded without my permission. Do not pay for them as I will never ask for money or other form of currency.
i love male-centered content here in civitai, so i downloaded this one.
i know that it caters primarily to bara and muscular men... but i'd love for it to be able to do other body types, slim, toned, twunk, etc.
i'll further test it with positive and negative prompts.
I've never had an issue getting slim/toned/twunk with previous versions of this models. It's definitely one of the best. You just gotta put words like skinny, slim, or or toned in the prompt and be careful with the word "muscular" cuz that is usually what can bulk them up quite a lot.
When I'm going for that body type instead of bara, I even put muscular in the negative prompt, and just in the positive prompt list the specific areas of the body I want to be a little bigger, so I'll have muscular in the negative prompt but in the positive prompt have like skinny, slim, toned, biceps, abs, pectorals/large pectorals, etc.
From my experience with both versions 4 and 5, It does twinks and twunks perfectly! 👍
Just be sure to describe the character's proportions
Just to clarify, when I said this model is 'very bara', doesn't mean it's impossible to get twinkish body type. It just means that it tends to lean more towards bara. You can still get twinks with the right prompts like 'slim, skinny, small waist, etc.' And of course avoid prompts like 'muscular, large muscles, huge pectorals, etc.'..

Great model overall. One thing I don't like about it though is that it creates 4-pack abs instead of a 6-pack, which makes the characters look kinda chubby/stout. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know. Also, the later models seem to be less flexible with anatomy/poses than v3.

I was wondering why my most recent generations looked way too saturated and dramatic. Based on the recent comments, I don’t think anyone prefers the v6.
The only way to get the older versions back is to auction off buzz and hope you win, from the best of my knowledge at least. Click on the blue button next to the download button and auction off as many buzz as you want.

I'm afraid to say that this version is too saturated, as if some overtraining occurred and unbalanced everything. It's a pity since the model is so good! A sign of this was already present in version 5. Here is basically impossible to generate some guy with light skin, they all look like they just came out of a tanning course at Mar-a-Lago, LOL.

Whoever auctions, try to do so for another version besides 6.0, no offense, everytime I have tried it, images came out way too saturated and sometimes with weirder anatomy compared to any previous version, at least bring 4.0 back, or anything else from the others really

@bluemage9 yes they can, but every week i need to do a bid of buzz, só it can reach the top 100 bids, if the checkpoint stays in the top 100 till the weekly reset it will be available to use
@Detoxic Hadn't they made an update announcement a few months ago saying that the number of available spots for the week went up to 150? (Ignoring the fact that right now at the auctions it also says 300 spots, which if true is even better, and honestly then I would vouch for having both v4 and v3 since they are both good alternatives to use depending on the characters and bodies you want)

Regarding HomoSimile XL v6.0
I've been getting some DMs and comments about people not getting good results with v6.0, and they prefer going back to v4.0. And since I can't promise when v7.0 will come out, I decided to switch the auction bidding to v4.0 for now. Sorry it took me this long, I'm not on this website as often anymore so I've only read your messages recently. I apologize again for any inconvenience caused..
Also, if you already placed a bid for v4.0, you can still cancel your bid and Civitai will refund your buzz back to you iirc. I'm using an automated bidding system and right now I'm maintaining this model and my other realistic model. So if you want to use other versions on this site then unfortunately you have to bid for it yourself, sorry.. 🙏🏼
I guess it's hard to be such a popular model maker when people has their opinions. I would have to say v6.0 is working fine after months of playing around. And it's getting better and better. I would wait for a v7.0 if there is one. But at the moment, I would enjoy this v6.0 and thank you as always.
Your checkpoint is amazing, it’s just that v6 seems a bit oversaturated, v4 it’s cleaner, Sometimes training ai it’s very tricky, and also i Bet generate locally has a much better result than doing things here, but for ppl like me, who don’t have a pc, the images were coming out with very saturares colors, but I know u will make the next version super perfect, bcs u are awesome!

Civitai raised generator, aka checkpoint availability on auctions to 500 spots, so now we can support all NAI-XL versions of Homosimile more easily for everyone to enjoy their preference. I suggest the creator helps out by using buzz from the tips for each one, or obviously if anyone else has too. We need to give a minimum of 1000 buzz though. Can we do it before the auction week ends? :D
