The GPZ900R was the fastest monster machine in the world when it was released by Kawasaki in 1984. Models with the "Ninja" name are still on sale today, but this was the first of them. (This is the "A2" released in 1985.)

This Lora is not the actual bike, but a reproduction of the specifications used in the filming of the movies "Top Gun" and "Top Gun: Maverick".

It has a bold red and black color scheme, with all-black wheels, the Kawasaki emblem removed and replaced with stickers of various air forces, and instead of the shiny surface finish of the real thing, the body is a semi-gloss, bold red and black two-tone that makes it look like it's been custom-made, and the wheels are painted solid black.

(The car used in the filming of "Top Gun: Maverick" that was exhibited when the movie was released was carefully weathered and scratched in various places, making it look like it's been driven for 40 years.)

Perhaps because of the semi-gloss finish, real-life photos of the vehicles on display also look somewhat "plastic model-like," and this Lora ended up being affected by that same thing.

1984年カワサキから発売された当時世界最速のモンスターマシンGPZ900R。"Ninja"を冠するモデルは現在も発売されていますが、これがその初代にあたります。（これは1985年発売の二代目、「A2」です）

このLoraはその実車ではなく、映画「トップガン」、「トップガン・マーベリック」の撮影に使われた仕様を再現したものです。

赤と黒の精悍なカラーリングが施され、ホイールも全面黒に、「Kawasaki」のエンブレムは消され、その代わりに各地の航空隊のステッカーが貼られ、実写のテラテラした表面仕上ではなく、車体はいかにもカスタムと思わせる半光沢、力強い赤と黒のツートンになっています。
