this is the first 'ZIT' that I can say actually looks better.
Usually its on par with, or slightly worse (Not your loras specifically, i mean ZIT) than ILL lora's.
I'm still in the 'Ehhh idk' stage for ZIT stuff.

Yeah I totally agree. I'm also thinking "Ehhh idk" for ZIT.
I'm making a lot of Loras for it to learn and experiment. At the moment (2025-12-22) I prefer using/making IL Loras.

There are a bunch considerations:
1. ZIT is amazing at realism. I made some realistic Loras and it was super easy. Way more accessible than FLUX.
2. I'm still learning how to make ZIT Loras (and I assume the community is too) so my Loras will gradually get better as I learn and gain experience.
3. ZIT is much more expensive than Illustrious. Running ZIT locally is using all 12 GB of my VRAM and still offloading to normal RAM.
4. ZIT barely understands anime. It doesn't know anime characters but also it barely knows any anime concepts.
5. I'm not good at prompting "natural language" so I'm not fully qualified to make the comparison.
6. Its new and we are still learning. My first 10 Illustrious Loras were kinda bad lol.

I'm going to publish my notes, thoughts, and training learnings eventually. I've made over 50 ZIT Loras so I'm starting to figure things out.
