Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing, is one of the founding members of the Fantastic Four. Once a brilliant pilot and best friend of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic), Ben was transformed into a rock-like creature after being exposed to cosmic rays during a space mission. His appearance, now covered in thick orange stone, makes him appear monstrous, but underneath he is still a deeply loyal, courageous, and witty man. Ben Grimm often struggles with his transformation, both physically and emotionally, and faces the challenges of being a hero despite his rocky exterior. His catchphrase, "It's clobberin' time!", is one of the most iconic lines in Marvel comics. Despite his outward gruffness, Ben remains one of the heart and soul of the Fantastic Four, always fighting for what is right and standing by his friends and family.
