House Orlock, known across Necromunda as the “House of Iron,” traces its origins to the brutal labor dynasties that once operated the great mining and manufacturing complexes beneath Hive Primus. They rose to power by controlling critical trade routes and ferrous resource veins, forging a reputation as stubborn, steel-hearted survivors shaped by centuries of hard industry. Orlocks are practical to the bone—engineers, scavengers, haulers, and mercenaries who dress in reinforced denim and patchwork armor, their bodies marked by old wounds, gang tattoos, and cybernetic repairs. Every ganger is expected to fight, but also to pull their weight—maintaining gear, working machines, and defending territory with equal grit.
Culturally, the Orlocks walk the line between working-class solidarity and deadly internal rivalries. Their loyalty is earned, not assumed, and their hierarchy favors merit over birth. While not as overtly cult-like or grotesque as some rival gangs, Orlocks are no less deadly—preferring firepower, toughness, and fieldcraft to finesse. They field squads equipped with autoguns, shotguns, and heavy stubbers, often deploying juves alongside grizzled veterans in gunmetal corridors and sump-laden trenches. House Orlock is less about glory and more about survival—they endure, adapt, and outlast, forged in iron and driven by hard-earned respect.
