In homage to Libuše Šafránková, we remember an outstanding actress who touched numerous hearts throughout her career. During the filming of 'Three Wishes for Cinderella' in 1973, at the young age of 22, she embodied the timeless beauty and grace of Cinderella, a role that resonated deeply with audiences.

Her remarkable acting prowess spanned decades. In the Czech film drama 'Kolya' of 1996, she delivered an enchanting performance as the singer Klara, contributing significantly to the film's success. 'Kolya' was honored with an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film in 1997, and her presence played a pivotal role in its acclaim.

On June 9, 2021, this exceptional artist left us. May Libuše Šafránková rest in peace. Her legacy will forever be anchored in the memories of her fans and the history of cinema.
