What Is This LoRA?

Eclipse Shadow is a character LoRA for Moria Ruruka / 森亜るるか.

Its primary purpose is to reproduce recognizable Moria Ruruka characteristics even on newer 2025-era checkpoints that may have little or no prior knowledge of the character.

A checkpoint cannot reproduce information it does not possess.

Obvious, yes.

And yet here we are.

So I supplied the missing information myself.

The training dataset contains more than 100 images, collected across a broad range of art styles.

That variation is intentional.

The objective was not to hammer one specific drawing style into the checkpoint until everything coming out of it looked contaminated.

The objective was to teach it:

This is Moria Ruruka. Remember her.

Then leave the checkpoint enough freedom to continue behaving like itself.

A remarkably reasonable experiment, considering the laboratory responsible for it.

Why Use This LoRA?

The useful part is not simply that it can generate the character.

The useful part is that it can provide Moria Ruruka identity to checkpoints that may not know her in the first place.

The dataset contains more than 100 images with considerable stylistic variation, allowing the training to focus more heavily on character identity without unnecessarily dragging the checkpoint toward one dominant art style.

The intended result is:

• recognizable Moria Ruruka characteristics on unfamiliar checkpoints

• less dependence on the checkpoint's existing character knowledge

• reduced unwanted art-style bias

• better flexibility across different checkpoint aesthetics

• easier character reproduction without excessive prompt engineering

In simple terms:

You provide the checkpoint.

This LoRA provides the missing character data.

Try not to merge anything else while you are here.

The last visitor did that and now one of the storage cabinets is legally classified as a person.

Early Release / Gen 1

This is Generation 1.

It is also an early release.

Minor inaccuracies in costume parts, accessories, and other small design details may occur.

That is currently considered acceptable.

The first objective was to establish the character strongly enough that models unfamiliar with Moria Ruruka could still reproduce her recognizable identity.

Perfecting every small component can come later, provided sufficiently useful data exists.

If you find a tiny accessory facing the wrong direction, please remain calm.

Do not activate the emergency alarm.

Will There Be a Gen 2?

Possibly.

There is no fixed promise of a second generation.

Future development will depend on variables such as:

• character popularity

• the quantity of usable future data

• the quality of that data

• whether there are meaningful improvements worth retraining for

• and the author's motivation at the time

The final variable remains the least scientifically predictable.

However, preliminary observations suggest that it responds favorably to:

Downloads.

Likes.

And, most importantly, Yellow Buzz.

Therefore, if you would like to increase the probability of a future Gen 2 experiment, contribute to the relevant variables.
