Born in Kanagawa Prefecture, she began her career at Ashi Productions as an animator and later joined Kaname Productions. She worked as a character designer and animation director on numerous acclaimed anime series including Windaria, Future GPX Cyber Formula, and Brain Powerd.

Inomata was particularly famous for her vivid watercolor illustrations featuring young women with distinctive wide, jewel-like eyes. She was a prolific novel illustrator, creating artwork for popular series like Utsunomiko and Weathering Continent. Her work extended to video games, where she served as the main character designer for several titles in Namco's Tales series. She also contributed to other notable franchises including Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and various Tekken games.

猪股睦弥（いのまたむつみ、1960年12月23日-2024年3月10日）

は、日本のイラストレーター、アニメーターでした。神奈川県出身で、アニメファンとしてアッシュプロダクション（アシプロ）でキャリアを始め、後にカナメプロダクションに参加しました。

アニメ界では『ウィンダリア』『新世紀GPXサイバーフォーミュラ』『ブレンパワード』などの作品でキャラクターデザインやアニメーション監督を担当しました。特に水彩画による鮮やかなイラストで知られ、宝石のような大きな瞳を持つ美しい女性キャラクターの描写で人気を博しました。
