Episode 2 of the series is loosely based on The Ring by Kōji Suzuki. A high school student receives a DVD from a classmate that is said to be cursed and will bring death to anyone who watches it. Not believing in curses, the student inserts the DVD into his DVD player, only to discover shortly afterwards that his television set is causing problems. It doesn't take long for a ghostly girl to emerge from the TV, who introduces herself as Sadako. She is short of money and wants to earn money by producing a ???? movie and the high school student is chosen as the male lead. What he doesn't know is that the video will also be broadcast live on the internet.
