In the VHS era, when you could only rely on a poster and a few words of the synopsis when choosing a VHS tape, there was a category of anime that wasn't just entertainment but also had a cinematic quality. These anime were characterized by realistic proportions, stationary backdrops, sometimes photographic ones, and, while not directly related, VHS artifacts are also associated with such anime by people of my generation. That's exactly what I wanted to achieve with Lora.

P.S. This time, I decided to take an unconventional approach to creating the dataset. I took photorealistic stock or generated images and processed them with a neural filter. I thought this would better align the result with my vision.
