Melys Lighting / Darkness slider is a specialized LoRA that acts as a precise dial for controlling light and shadow in your images.
How to use?
Apply weights from -2.0 to +2.0 to control the effect:
• Negative values (-2.0 - 0): Gradually add shadows, depth, and drama. Perfect for gloomy, mysterious, nocturnal, or tense scenes.
• Neutral (0): Base lighting as prompted.
• Positive values (0 - +2.0): Gradually enhance lighting, making the scene brighter, more ethereal, and luminous. Great for cheerful, dreamy, heavenly, or pure imagery.
Key Features:
• Precision Control: Goes beyond simple bright/dark, altering the quality and mood of light.
• Versatility: Works on portraits, landscapes, interiors, adding dimension and atmosphere.
• Compatibility: Plays well with other LoRAs (styles, characters), offering greater creative flexibility.
Recommendations:
• Start with moderate values (±0.5 - ±1.0) for subtle, natural results.
• Extreme values (±1.5 - ±2.0) will create a strong stylistic effect.
• Combine with prompts describing time of day or mood (e.g., "sunset", "moonlit", "foggy", "bright studio lighting").
