A former onmyouji diviner, he now seeks a peaceful life as an apprentice cooking student, happily trading vegetables with the surrounding students. His rice balls earn widespread praise for their exquisite flavor and the high-quality rice he uses—perhaps enhanced by a touch of his mysterious powers.
