For best outputs and usage:
Sampler: DPM++ 2M Karras, Euler a.
Steps: 25 ~ 60, cfg 7 ~ 11, CLIP skip 2.
VAE: sdxl_vae.safetensors (mandatory).
This model, in its version 6.0, requires these LoRa's for best quality: "neg4all_bdsqlsz_xl_V7" with weight of 0.9 and tweak-detail-xl with weight of 2 in the pos prompt (included in the 6.0 example runs).
Simple neg, like "bad quality, worst quality, comic" plus whatever else you don't want to see. Do not add huge weights to this model, like "((monochrome:2))" and similar, not even in the pos. It understands very well and doesn't need them. If you add them, you may get poor quality images.
This model supports a wide array of styles and aesthetics but provides an opinionated default prompt template that allows generation of high quality samples with no negative prompt and otherwise default settings: copy and paste this in the pos prompt -> "score_9, score_8_up, score_7_up, score_6_up, score_5_up, score_4_up," plus what u want to see. (Previous Pony Diffusion models used a simpler score_9 quality modifier, the longer version of V6 XL version is a training issue that was too late to correct during training, you can still use score_9 but it has a much weaker effect compared to full string.
The model is designed to not need negative prompts in most cases and does not need other quality modifiers like "hd", "masterpiece", etc...
Other special data selection tags include, 'source_pony', 'source_furry', 'source_cartoon' and 'source_anime' and ratings of 'rating_safe', 'rating_questionable' and 'rating_explicit'. They're optional but recommended.
This model is capable of recognizing many popular and obscure characters and series.
Note: the model is capable of certain level of realism, if keywords like "realistic", "realism" or "photorealistic" are used (and none of the source_ tags). Certain embedding, included in some example runs, "ZipRealism_Neg" (ac_neg1.safetensors) may help too.
Version 6.1 Update: the model has been updated with a LoRa which allows to draw in the style of up to 200 artists. It's use is simple, set weight to 1 with the slidebar and just name the artist, for example, "by Xnirox". Version 6.2 Update: the model has been updated with a LoRa which allows to draw in the style of up to 1400 artists. 37 example runs have been created and posted in the model's gallery. Each run contains a different Style LoRa which you can download and use with other pony models / use the example run as a base. The list ahead tells the style, the LoRa, its proper weight, its trigger (if any) and the respective run which contains the LoRA:
