The Subaru 360 is a light car developed by Fuji Heavy Industries (now Subaru). Approximately 392,000 units were produced over a 12-year period from 1958 to 1970. In contrast to the Volkswagen Type 1 "Beetle" (Kabutomushi), which it was modeled after, it was nicknamed "Ladybug" by the general public.
