Z-Image is an open-source AI image generation model developed by Alibaba's Tongyi-MAI team. Built on a 6B parameter efficient diffusion architecture, it supports 8-step turbo inference and bilingual Chinese-English prompts, generating photorealistic high-quality images. Z-Image is completely open source and free under Apache 2.0 license, supporting commercial use. This checkpoint/model is a quantized and scaled version of Z-Image-Turbo to ease the load on VRAM but preserve same image quality.
