Illustrious License Old SDXL is a merge of two older SDXL models — Nova Anime XL v5b and WAI NSFW Illustrious SDXL v12. For me, Nova v5b has one of the most unique and interesting styles among all Nova versions, while WAI v12 is the most balanced and well-rounded one (at least in my opinion). This merge is my way of combining what I love from both — Nova’s distinct artistic flavor and WAI’s solid overall structure. I also use Old SDXL as the base model for most of my future merges.
