This is an old attempt I made to create a pixel art model.

It creates fake looking pixel art that looks stippled.

v1.0 creates results that better resemble pixel art.

v1.1 has more of its own character.

Optional trigger words: "pixelart", "grid", "mesh grid".

I pre-processed my input image training data by scaling it up and then superimposed black grid lines across the pixels and left only a single pixel visible in the center of each of the grid lines. This was in attempt to help the model place pixels in the right location, despite irregular logical pixel shapes (due to non-perfect aspect ratios).

I have abandoned training this model because I think my pixel-art ControlNet "PixelNet" (https://civarchive.com/models/102482/pixelnet) completely outclasses this model. Regardless, I like the aesthetic result of this model, even if it isn't good at making genuine pixel art.

I don't know how to convert a hypernetwork .pt file into a .safetensors, so here it is as such. If anyone has a script to do this, I will upload a .safetensors file then.
