    Wacky Scratch LoRA

    Unleash Whimsy with 'Wacky Scratch'

Step into a world where colors burst, lines dance, and reality bends just a little off-kilter! The Wacky Scratch LoRA transforms images into a vibrant, dynamic drawing style with a unique flat, 2D and 2.5D aesthetic. Using the magic keyword 'WackScratchDaal', this LoRA brings an explosion of whimsy, weirdness, and wonder to your creations. Like the Cheshire Cat once said, "I'm not crazy, my reality is just different than yours." If you're looking for a touch of the surreal, a splash of fun, or a full-blown imaginative escape, this LoRA is your new best friend.

    Tuning the Wackiness

    • Weight Range: 0.5 to 1.5

    • Sweet Spot: 1.0 for strong adherence

    • Low Weights (0.5-0.9): More flexibility, allowing the original image structure to shine through while adding playful elements.

    • High Weights (1.1-1.5): Pushes towards a highly stylized, thready, and sometimes abstract aesthetic.

    Where Wacky Scratch Shines

From creatures and characters to landscapes and objects, Wacky Scratch thrives in a variety of settings. It works beautifully with:

    • Animals – Give your furry (or feathery or scaly) friends a quirky makeover.

    • People – Turn portraits into colorful and surreal illustrated dreamscapes.

    • Places & Scenes – Whether urban, fantastical, or otherworldly, this LoRA enhances them with whimsical depth and rich detail.

    • Objects & Things – Even everyday objects look more playful and enchanting in this style.

The more complicated or restrictive the prompt, the less adherence the LoRA may have, but it excels when embracing the wild, fun, and cartoonish aspects of image generation.

    Description

Works with SDXL! Sometimes makes weird stretch necked (which I view as a feature) or stacked heads (which may be less of a feature but is sometimes funny). But since you can make many of them and pick a good one fast and cheap I am releasing this one.

Lora and style are nice but the model you used to generate the examples ignores a significant portion of your prompts.

On the SDXL side, this is known. I do find that by training with more descriptive text I get more adherence to the concepts I want. SDXL token "chunk limit" is 75 that is not the same as 75 characters or words. I have personally had good results with limiting myself to 1000 characters. While some may end up truncated or chunked separately depending upon the implementation, I more often get pleasing results than monstrosities. Strictly speaking it would/should do better with Danbooru prompts and likely would, but I choose expression instead.

Thanks for the comment, thanks for sharing your images. They are fantastic.
