    WAN2.1 — StartEndFrames — Simple Workflow

A clean, all-in-one WAN image-to-video workflow built entirely with the UmeAiRT Toolkit for ComfyUI.
Only 12 nodes. No spaghetti wires. Just load your model, write your prompt, and hit generate.

    ⚠️ IMPORTANT — Nodes 2.0 Required

This workflow is built for the Nodes 2.0 (Vue) interface of ComfyUI. If you don't enable it, the workflow may have display problems.

    How to activate Nodes 2.0:

    1. Open ComfyUI

    2. Go to Settings (⚙️ icon, bottom-left)

    3. Find "Use Nodes V2 (Vue)" and toggle it ON

    4. Refresh the page

    5. Load the workflow

If you prefer the classic interface, check out my Legacy version of this workflow instead (link).

    🎯 Features

    • Text-to-video generation

    • Automatic download of models in auto version

    • Built-in SeedVR2 upscaler — high-quality tiled upscaling (toggleable on/off) Slower than a classic upscaler, but significantly better quality

    • Full metadata embedding — your images are saved with all generation parameters, ready for online publishing and remixing

    • 3 LoRA slots — with individual on/off toggles and strength control and you can connect as many other lora modules to each other for as many LoRA as you want.

    📦 Custom Node Required

Only one custom node to install:

    👉 ComfyUI-UmeAiRT-Toolkit

Install via ComfyUI Manager (search "UmeAiRT") or use the UmeAiRT Auto-Installer.
The Toolkit packages everything internally — upscaler, face detailer, metadata saver. No other custom nodes needed.

Is anyone else here getting a weird color shift on the last frame? The last frame in my output looks like a noisey/over saturated version of the picture I used. I am not using interpolation, upscale, teacache or torch compile. I am using sage.

Are there any tips for settings please?
What are your best settings so we can try and replicate?
I get some weird flashing on the last frames
tested with and without sage, teacake and different GGUF models.

Yeah, that's what I am getting too and I don't know how to solve it. I also started disabling things 1 by 1 but I could never solve the issue. It shows up at the very end of the video like a flash. I always save my last frame and it's nothing like the 'end' picture I utilized. <shrug>

Did more testing this AM and I was able to get rid of that flashing last frame. I am using V1.1, non GGUF. I am using the 480p I2V model, fp8 e4m3fn, I never use the built in interpolation or upscale. It seemed to work fine like this. When I save the frame it looks like the End frame I utilized.

@yajukun I tried your method with the exact same settings, the glitched last frame is still present. Setting Shift very high seems to get you closer to the end frame.

@jasonafex  I should try test this again. Of all the workflow variations the Start/End ones never gave me the best results so I stopped testing them at V1.1. To me it does weird things when transitioning unless the 2 pictures were very alike. I primarily use I2V or T2V. Let me try retest the latest version of the Start/End and see if there are improvements.

Can the workflow support the latest Wan2.1 First Last Frame model?

Curious as well. I'm downloading the gguf version as we speak to test it out.
