This is a complete (as of today) collection of hundreds of ESRGAN upscalers for all types of different applications. I have seen people uploading 1 upscaler at a time which is not only inefficient it spams the feed. So here is the answer, and its comprehensive!
There are a total of 327 upscalers running the gamut from CGI to anime to realism. Total uncompressed size is 20GB. They range from a variety of authors and from 1x to 16x upscale multipliers.

While I appreciate compiling all into one, and I rated it 5 stars for that reason, it would be nice to provide a sample of each, much like the single posts provide. Perhaps at least for the more popular ones. This easy comparison makes it very compelling to get the others instead, as the benefit of each upscaler is more clear.
While I appreciate your sentiments, there is no way I have the available time to composite 300+ upscale comparisons. I will however update the post with a list of everything contained herein. Thanks for your constructive criticism, I do agree with you overall, but I just do not have the time needed.
Should anyone wish to do an XY comparison grid with all the upscalers, I would be happy to post the results here and give you credit.
@harmonicdiffusion @Polygon I commented on reddit but I'll chip in here too: it would be much better to have samples for those upscalers or at least have grouping so that we don't have to download one big 18GB file.
@malcolmrey You could always download all of them, then break them into categories and then post them on CivitAI. Be the change you want to see!

@harmonicdiffusion aren't there ComfyUI nodes that can automate this... oh wait they are not upscaler ready yet. In this case someone should cook up custom nodes and automate the testing process cus the Wiki has moved to a new site without any popularity/relevance metrics which is a bit off.
Saw that but the site does not have tag for specific use cases which is concerning
"I have seen people uploading 1 upscaler at a time" - i upload the ones people were using the most, in my experience (having tested everything i uploaded), so they can find the resource easily on civitai. I also mention the proper original resource and license. In comparison your technique forces everyone to lag civitai behind a 17gb download for a 100mb file ... please use the proper "upscaler" category if you really want to help people out!
so, a bit unrelated to the upload per se, and maybe a stupid question, but
do upscalers by default only exist as pth files?
or are there safetensor versions of them somewhere out there?
becouse, while would like to try some of these out ... i'm quite hesitant of downloading pandoras box
that said, i agree with the other posters ...
having them seperate and knowing, where they come from is clearly more convinient
