Dark Fantasy Illustration is a LoRA that seeks to reproduce the very popular illustration style found in many comics, role-playing games, and video games.
Here are a few iconic examples of such dark gothic illustrations.
My personal favourite : Johan Egerkrans, a Swedish illustrator specializing in fantasy and Norse mythology. His work is ab-so-lu-te-ly awesome.
Heart: The City Beneath : the award-winning complete tabletop roleplaying game about delving into a nightmare undercity that will give you everything you’ve ever dreamed of – or kill you in the process.
And there are a lot of nice video games, (beside the most revered Darkest Dungeon) : Hellslave, Deep Sky Derelict, Whispers of the Eyeless or Curse of the Dead Gods.
This Dark fantasy illustration style characterized by
bold black lines, heavy textures through linework and extreme contrast.
Hand-drawn illustrations with dramatic compositions and grotesque and exaggerated forms.
Dark and muted colors, with deep blacks, dark reds, dirt browns and cold blues dominating the palette.
Oppressive lighting, with deep shadows and high contrasts.
Depending on the production, the overall style renders perfectly a grim, gothic, infernal atmosphere that perfectly suits dungeon crawlers and dark RPGs illustrations.

Pony v6 version
This version can produce very different output depending on the checkpoint used. The style is best represented by using the base Pony v6 checkpoint but unfortunately, this model struggle with bakcgrounds and objects.
Illustration oriented Pony checkpoints give the best results.
