CharcoalSketch - Charcoal & Pencil Sketch Style LoRA [Illustrious/SDXL]
TRIGGER WORD: charcoal_sketch
Charcoal Sketch transforms generations into traditional charcoal, pencil, and conte crayon drawings on paper.
IMPORTANT - PROMPTING MATTERS: Trigger word alone gives desaturated sketch look. Adding charcoal vocabulary (vine charcoal rendering, heavy tonal shading, visible hatching strokes, smudged shadow areas, paper texture showing through highlights, unfinished edges fading into paper) pushes the style much harder.
Best results: Figure studies/portraits on light backgrounds, dynamic gesture poses, street scenes, classical academic compositions.
Tips: Include warm toned paper background, charcoal terms, drawing techniques. Use negative: color, colorful, vibrant, saturated, cel shaded, digital art.
3 Preset Modes:
- Lite (str 0.4-0.5): Subtle desaturation
- Standard (str 0.7-0.8): Clear charcoal aesthetic (recommended)
- Full (str 1.0): Maximum effect with charcoal vocabularyDescription
Initial Release.
NOTES: Images without charcoal vocabulary tend to stay more colored. Best: figure studies, portraits, gesture poses, street sketches on light backgrounds. Weakest: outdoor nature with green, dark backgrounds, close-up hands.
