"Live Action" has been a term, and in the Oxford Dictionary, for longer than you've been alive. It's a historical term, a technical term, and it's used by creators for these reasons. It's been in common use since way before the internet, and it's never fallen out of favor.

The reason I asked was because EVERY example was anime at first, so you should be in favor of my asking this if you're sick of anime, instead of calling me ignorant of real life. The examples are no longer just anime, but that's the situation when I asked.
