grimoire is a prompt library and builder for Stable Diffusion / ComfyUI.
I tried many prompt management tools but couldn't find one that felt right — features were missing, or the overview was hard to read. So I built grimoire with exactly what I wanted.
Key Features
Tag library organized with YAML files. One button can hold multiple tags, acting like a preset.
Color-coded chips for easy readability at a glance. Right-click to assign a custom color — 12 presets + hex picker.
[New!] Style Palette with custom categories: add, delete, and rename palette categories freely to match your workflow.
Slot Mode: split your positive prompt into named slots (Quality, Character, Outfit, Pose, Camera, Background…). Click a slot, then click tags to fill it.
Suffix Zone: a dedicated row for boilerplate tags — always appended to the end of the final prompt, fully editable and saved in presets.
Preview Window: a floating window that auto-displays generated images as they appear. Syncs theme with grimoire, remembers size and position.
Prompt History: auto-saves your prompt on every Send (up to 50 entries), restorable with one click.

Description
This is a major update. Three new headline features, a redesigned sidebar, and a pile of chip-level improvements.
Slot Mode
The biggest addition in this release. Slot Mode splits your positive prompt into named slots — Quality, Character, Outfit, Pose, Camera, Background, and more. Toggle it with the ⊞ button in the Grimoire header.
Click a slot to focus it, then click any tag in the library to insert it there. Each slot is its own mini prompt area with full chip support. Drag chips between slots. Rename, reorder, add, or remove slots freely — all saved to localStorage. Right-click a slot chip to assign a custom color for quick identification.
Preview Window
Click the 🖼 button to open a floating window that automatically displays images as they are generated — no alt-tabbing required. The window stays out of your way until something new arrives, then flashes to show the latest result. Size and position are remembered between sessions. The window theme syncs with grimoire, and it closes automatically when grimoire exits.
Prompt History
Every time you hit Send, grimoire saves a copy of your current prompt (up to 50 entries). Click the 🕐 button to browse your history and restore any previous prompt in one click. Duplicate consecutive entries are skipped.

Separator chips — insert
[=Label=]dividers to visually group your prompt; double-click to renameManual chip color — right-click any chip (or a multi-selection) to set a custom color from a 12-color palette or a hex picker; persists across sessions
Wildcard display —
__xxx__tokens appear as teal chips and are passed through as-is on sendAND tag search — space-separated keywords filter the tag library by all terms at once
Ctrl+Wheel weight — hold Ctrl and scroll over a chip to adjust its weight; works on multi-selection too
Middle-click to delete — now unified across all chip types: regular chips, separators, and line breaks
LoRA popup pinned — the hover popup no longer follows your cursor, so trigger word buttons stay clickable
Disabled chip auto-reset — clicking a disabled chip re-enables it instead of silently doing nothing
Bug fixes
Random chip: deeply nested paths (e.g. Category > Group > Subgroup) now display the full breadcrumb and resolve correctly
Preview window: Windows Explorer thumbnail browsing no longer triggers false image updates
Tag tree: navigating into a subgroup now correctly identifies the parent category
Gen mode: default field values (Checkpoint, Steps, Width/Height, CFG) are no longer pre-filled with stale data

今回は大型アップデートです。3つの目玉新機能、サイドバーの刷新、そしてチップ操作の大幅改善をお届けします。
スロットモード
今回最大の追加機能です。スロットモードはポジティブプロンプトを「品質・キャラ・服装・ポーズ・カメラ・背景…」などの名前付きスロットに分割して管理する機能です。Grimoire ヘッダーの ⊞ ボタンで切り替えます。
スロットをクリックしてフォーカスし、ライブラリのタグをクリックするだけでそのスロットに挿入できます。各スロットは独立したチップ入力欄として機能します。スロット間のドラッグ移動も可能。スロットの追加・削除・リネーム・並べ替えは自由に行えます（設定は localStorage に保存）。スロットのチップを右クリックするとカスタムカラーを設定できます。
プレビューウィンドウ
🖼 ボタンでフローティングウィンドウが開き、画像が生成されるたびに自動で表示します。ウィンドウを切り替えて確認する必要がなくなります。新しい画像が来るとフラッシュエフェクトで通知。サイズと位置はセッション間で記憶され、grimoire のテーマと同期し、grimoire を終了すると一緒に閉じます。
プロンプト履歴
Send を押すたびにプロンプトが自動保存されます（最大50件）。🕐 ボタンで履歴一覧を開き、過去のプロンプトをワンクリックで復元できます。連続する同一プロンプトは重複して保存しません。

縦型アイコンサイドバー — 横並びタブから刷新。モードの表示順をドラッグで自由に変更可能
区切りチップ —
[=ラベル=]を挿入してプロンプトをグループ分けできます。ダブルクリックでラベルを編集チップ色手動設定 — 右クリックメニュー（複数選択時は一括）から 12 色パレットまたはカスタムカラーを設定。セッション間で保持
ワイルドカード表示 —
__xxx__をティール色チップで表示。送信時はそのまま通過タグ検索 AND 条件 — スペース区切りで入力した全キーワードに一致するタグのみ表示
Ctrl+Wheel でウェイト変更 — チップの上で Ctrl+スクロールするとウェイトを調整。複数選択時は一括適用
中クリックで削除 — 通常チップ・区切りチップ・改行チップすべてで統一
LoRA ポップアップ固定 — ホバーポップアップがカーソルを追わなくなり、トリガーワードボタンをクリックできるように
無効チップの自動リセット — 無効化されたチップを再追加すると自動で有効状態に戻る
バグ修正
ランダムチップ: 深い階層（カテゴリ > グループ > サブグループ）のパス表示と解決が正しく動作するよう修正
プレビューウィンドウ: Windows エクスプローラーのサムネイル読み込みで誤発火する問題を修正
タグツリー: サブグループに移動した際に正しい親カテゴリが識別されるよう修正
Gen モード: Checkpoint・Steps・Width/Height・CFG などのデフォルト値に不正な初期値が入る問題を修正
