Outpaint:
I found this very cool node from Raykosan and I had to share it. I will be incorporating it into some of my workflows at a later date

You can choose the size, choose a preset, lock in dimensions for batch runs. detemine where you want to center it, or manually edit it.
This workflow is cut & paste ready to be dropped into any existing 9b workflow

Thank you so much for the fantastic workflow, it's working flawlessly. However, when I enlarge the image, the quality of the original image drops incredibly. What should we do to prevent this?
Set the slider above the image to 1.0. That way it does not shrink. I put that there for low VRAM.
There is a resize node on teh opposite side of the ksampler. I'll probably swap that out for an upscale node.
@lonecatone23 I would be really grateful if you could manage to optimize this :)
@Enigma38 I can and will. I'm at work
@Enigma38
Fixed!!!
@lonecatone23 You are great...
@Enigma38 you misspelled "bored"
@Enigma38 does it do better?
@lonecatone23 Yes, it's definitely better now :)
Great work. A few issues I've encountered. I'm placing the original image at the top right and the red area is left and below. When it outfills, it is outfilling above the original image, which is not in the red area. It is also taking the largest dimension of the original image to determine the final output image size. I would have expected this would take the larger dimension of the expanded image.
Hmmm,
Did you set a "snap to"? I can;tr see hwo that would happen.
I intentionally set the image size to the best resoltion of the original image intentionally. I am using Lanczos to upscale it (no model). I could place a bypass for this, but increasing it too much will degrade the image quality.
if you are going at 1:1 ratio without shrinking it, just save image immediatly after the VAE
@studioshemp I added a switch in ver 1.2
@lonecatone23 Thanks, appreciated - I will try it out. I didn't make any changes to the 1.1 workflow, just downloaded the models (the clip had a few variants to choose from, but can't see that making a huge difference to framing). No 'snap-to' but the results are repeatable. It has me mystified too.
