I'm excited to share the new Krea2 and Krea2 Turbo version of my Melancholy LoRA, bringing its signature aesthetic to a new model while staying true to the original style.
This LoRA is designed to produce melancholic, cinematic imagery with a strong focus on realism, atmosphere, and emotional restraint. It emphasizes carefully composed scenes, subdued color palettes, and controlled cinematic lighting. The overall look aims for a grounded, highly realistic appearance, often featuring a very shallow depth of field and pronounced background blur, while still allowing images to feel contemplative and emotionally charged.
Version 2.0
This update significantly improves the original release by addressing its early shortcomings while preserving the signature aesthetic and emotional atmosphere that define the style.
Version 2.0 was refined to achieve more consistent results, improved image quality, and better overall stability when generating with Krea2 and Krea2 Turbo.
Note:
Film grain is an essential part of the Melancholy aesthetic. In Version 1.0, the grain was intentionally included during training. While this helped define the style, it also made it difficult for the model to reproduce clean, natural-looking grain consistently, sometimes resulting in uneven or artificial noise.
For Version 2.0, the grain was deliberately removed from the training process to improve overall image quality and consistency. If you want to recreate the complete Melancholy look, I recommend adding film grain as a post-processing step. In ComfyUI, the "FilmGrain" node from the comfyui-post-processing-nodes pack works particularly well for this purpose.
Recommendation:
Trigger word:
zidiusArtCreate images directly at a resolution of around 1328 × 1944 px or higher.
Recommended LoRA strength: Start at 0.5 and adjust up to 2.0, depending on the desired effect.
I'm very curious and excited to see what kind of images you will create with this LoRA ♥️♥️♥️
