Short ideas can be expanded into structured Krea 2 prompts while preserving important subjects, actions, composition and camera instructions.
MANUAL mode completely bypasses Ollama.
The included:
_INSTALL_AUTOPROMPT_MODEL.bat
and
INSTALL_QWEN_3.5_VISION_9B.bat
can download the recommended model through Ollama. If Ollama is not installed yet, install Ollama first and run the BAT again.
Image Editing
Native Edit — Original is recommended for precise edits where identity, pose and composition should remain close to the source.
Native Edit — Custom uses the source image for grounding while allowing a separate target format or aspect ratio.
Classic Img2Img provides the traditional denoise-based alternative. The public workflow starts at denoise 0.40, with optional creative LoRAs disabled by default.
Native Edit and Classic Img2Img now have their own independently bypassable workflow groups.
ComfyUI Manager / Registry
VELVET VICE — KREA is available through the Comfy Registry.
Canonical package:
velvet-vice-krea
Load the workflow, open Missing Custom Nodes, install VELVET VICE — KREA, restart ComfyUI and reload the workflow.
Version 2.0.5 also improves Manager uninstall behavior and cleans up known legacy KREA installations while explicitly protecting the separate VELVET VICE LTX package.
The included manual installer remains available as a fallback.
Model Neutral
The workflow does not force a specific personal checkpoint.
You can select your own compatible Krea 2 model, VAE, encoder and LoRAs.
Models and third-party model files are not included.
Bug Reports & Feedback
If you discover a bug, unexpected behavior or a mode that does not work correctly, please report it.

Description
V2.0.5 – Stable Edit, Registry & Manager Update
VELVET VICE · KREA 2 VISION PROMPTER v2.0.5 is a major workflow and stability update focused on prompt intelligence, reliable image editing, branch isolation, memory handling, ComfyUI Manager integration and a cleaner public release.
The workflow keeps the independent CREATE, Native Edit and Classic Img2Img systems while significantly improving how each branch is executed, detected and managed.
What changed
New KREA Prompt Director v2
Upgraded to the same Qwen3.5 9B LLM used in the Velvet Vice LTX workflows.
Improved keyword-to-prompt expansion specifically tuned for Krea 2.
Better preservation of subjects, actions, camera instructions and important user constraints.
Adaptive prompt expansion avoids unnecessarily bloated prompts.
Improved handling of multi-subject scenes, composition, lighting and scene structure.
Local output validation and cleanup.
MANUALmode completely bypasses Ollama.ASSISTEDmode uses a single LLM call.Included Windows installer for the recommended model:
fredrezones55/Qwen3.5-Uncensored-HauhauCS-Aggressive:9b
Prompt-First Memory & Branch Gate
The Prompt Director finishes before the heavy Krea rendering resources are allowed to resolve.
Ollama is released after prompt generation whenever possible.
Heavy CREATE / Native Edit / Classic Img2Img resources remain isolated from inactive branches.
Inactive branches now use safe ComfyUI
ExecutionBlockerbehavior instead of leaking invalidNoneresources.Lazy inputs are resolved only when the selected workflow branch actually requires them.
Prevents inactive VAE, CLIP, MODEL and sampler paths from accidentally executing.
Reworked Native Edit
KREA Native Edit has received a major technical correction.
Two independent Native Edit modes are available:
NATIVE EDIT — ORIGINAL
Uses the original source format as the edit target.
Designed for source-faithful editing.
Best for preserving identity, composition, pose and camera framing.
NATIVE EDIT — CUSTOM
Uses the source image for visual grounding.
Generates into a separately defined target resolution / latent.
Useful when the edited result also needs a different format or aspect ratio.
Additional Native Edit improvements:
Grounded reference resolution corrected to 768 px.
Improved Krea2Edit reference wiring.
Source image, VAE, source latent and target latent are correctly supplied to the edit model path.
Better distinction between source-preserving editing and free image generation.
Reworked Classic Img2Img
Classic Img2Img remains available as a completely independent image-to-image system.
Unlike Native Edit, Classic Img2Img uses traditional latent denoise strength to determine how strongly the source image is reinterpreted.
Stable public defaults:
Denoise: 0.40
Optional creative LoRAs: OFF by default
SeedVR2: bypassed for the initial base render
This gives users a neutral, source-faithful starting point before enabling stronger reinterpretation or enhancement.
Independent Image Edit Groups
The previous combined Image Edit Studio has been split so Native Edit and Classic Img2Img can be independently bypassed.
New structure:
04A — NATIVE EDIT STUDIO • ORIGINAL / CUSTOM04B — CLASSIC IMG2IMG STUDIO • SOURCE / DENOISE04C — IMAGE EDIT BRANCH CONTROL • ENABLE / GUIDE
This prevents Native Edit and Classic Img2Img source paths from unnecessarily running together.
The internal engines also remain independent:
INTERNAL B — NATIVE EDIT ENGINEINTERNAL C — CLASSIC IMG2IMG ENGINE
SeedVR2 Output Isolation
CREATE, Native Original, Native Custom and Classic Img2Img keep their own output paths.
New workflow-mode-aware SeedVR2 branch gates prevent inactive finishing paths from being evaluated.
SeedVR2 receives only the image / model resources belonging to the currently selected workflow mode.
A dedicated memory handoff can release Krea resources before loading the optional SeedVR2 finishing stage.
New Format & Resolution Selector
Added directly to the CREATE / Text-to-Image branch.
Choose common aspect ratios instead of manually entering width and height.
Portrait, landscape, square, widescreen, vertical and ultrawide formats.
PRESETandMANUALmodes.Full manual width / height control remains available.
Render This Stage
Partial execution controls allow selected workflow sections to be tested more easily.
Useful for working independently with:
Base generation
Refinement
Detailers
SeedVR2 / Final output
This makes troubleshooting and iterative workflow development considerably easier.
Improved PowerLoRA Integration
Newly created, duplicated or pasted PowerLoRA nodes can inherit the Velvet Vice KREA visual style.
KREA workflow detection remains isolated from Velvet Vice LTX workflows.
KREA styling does not overwrite LTX 2.3 / 2.5 graphs.
Memory / Interrupt Improvements
Improved cleanup after manually interrupted generations.
Avoids unnecessary aggressive model unloading.
Designed to reduce situations where large model allocations are unnecessarily pushed into system RAM.
Prompt resources and render resources are separated whenever possible.
Missing Custom Nodes / Comfy Registry Integration
VELVET VICE KREA is now properly mapped to the Comfy Registry package:
velvet-vice-krea
Velvet Vice workflow nodes include Registry metadata so ComfyUI Manager → Missing Custom Nodes can identify the correct package on clean installations.
This makes sharing the workflow considerably easier because users no longer need to manually identify the Velvet Vice custom-node package.
ComfyUI Manager Install / Uninstall Fix — v2.0.5
v2.0.5 adds dedicated lifecycle support for ComfyUI Manager / Comfy Registry installations.
Added
install.pyfor legacy-install migration.Added
uninstall.pyfor Manager-controlled cleanup.Known historical Velvet Vice KREA duplicate folders are automatically handled.
Read-only file attributes are cleared before Manager removes the active package, reducing Windows deletion /
WinError 5problems.The separate VELVET VICE LTX package is explicitly protected and is never modified.
Canonical installation folder:
ComfyUI/custom_nodes/velvet-vice-krea
Legacy KREA folders handled by the cleanup system include:
ComfyUI-Velvet-Vice-KREAComfyUI-Velvet-Vice-KREA-mainvelvet-vice-krea-mainComfyUI-ILLUMINATE-AI-KREA
Windows Portable Helpers
The release package includes the original helper BAT files:
INSTALL_QWEN_3.5_VISION_9B.batrun_nvidia_gpu_VELVET_VICE.example.bat_INSTALL_AUTOPROMPT_MODEL.bat
The Qwen installer downloads the recommended local model automatically through Ollama.
Emerald + Violet UI
Updated KREA-specific Velvet Vice color palette.
Existing Velvet Vice animated node behavior is preserved.
Theme ownership remains isolated from the separate LTX workflows.
Layout and spacing were refined throughout the workflow.
Model-Neutral Public Workflow
The public workflow no longer depends on a specific personal Krea checkpoint.
Users are free to select their own compatible Krea 2 model installation.
Model, encoder, VAE and compatible LoRA choices remain under user control.
Independent Workflow Architecture
The four image-generation paths remain logically independent:
ModeSource ImageTargetMain PurposeCREATENoNew latentText-to-ImageNative Edit — OriginalYesOriginal formatPrecise source-preserving editNative Edit — CustomYesCustom target latentGrounded edit into a new formatClassic Img2ImgYesEncoded source latentDenoise-based reinterpretation
Each path has its own rendering and output logic while sharing the central Velvet Vice control system.
Recommended First Test
For the cleanest first test:
Select the desired workflow mode.
Use
MANUALprompt mode.Keep optional Detailers and creative LoRAs disabled.
Keep SeedVR2 bypassed.
Confirm the base output first.
Enable enhancement stages afterward.
For Classic Img2Img, start with denoise 0.40.
For source-faithful edits, start with Native Edit.
General
Independent CREATE, Native Edit and Classic Img2Img architecture preserved.
Improved execution isolation.
Improved source-image handling.
Improved Comfy Registry compatibility.
Improved Missing Custom Nodes detection.
Improved ComfyUI Manager installation and removal.
Qwen3.5 Autoprompt installer included.
Full Image Edit documentation included.
Public release branding updated to v2.0.5.
VELVET VICE · KREA 2 VISION PROMPTER v2.0.5 is focused on making Krea 2 generation and image editing smarter, more predictable, easier to troubleshoot, easier to install and much cleaner to distribute.

This seems pretty darn awesome, I’m enjoying trying it out. I may have missed it, but do you have any readme docs on the i2i/image edit lane?
@semipro211 Hi, thanks for your curiosity. Yes, further down you will find the Classic Image-to-Image and the Edit. Custom Target Format. Right there are the descriptions.
@semipro211
# KREA 2 EDIT — CUSTOM TARGET FORMAT
This optional branch lets you render the edited image in a new target resolution or aspect ratio while still using the original source image as the grounded visual reference.
## HOW TO USE
1. Keep the standard Original Target branch for preserving the source format.
2. Enable this Custom Target Format group only when you want a different output size or aspect ratio.
3. Set the custom width and height in KREA 2 EDIT — CUSTOM TARGET LATENT.
4. Use the same Krea 2 Edit prompt and source image as usual.
5. Test the base result first, then optionally enable SeedVR2 for the final upscale.
## RECOMMENDED PRACTICE
- Use moderate format changes first.
- Extreme aspect-ratio changes require the model to invent more background content.
- Grounding 768 remains a strong general starting point.
- If the subject changes too much, try higher grounding values such as 896 or 1024.
## TYPICAL CUSTOM TARGETS
- 1344 × 768 (16:9)
- 768 × 1344 (9:16)
- 1536 × 1024 (3:2)
- 1024 × 1536 (2:3)
- 1536 × 1536 (square)
For best efficiency, keep only the Krea 2 Edit output mode you actually need enabled.
@semipro211 11 CLASSIC IMG2IMG — CREATIVE IMAGE-TO-IMAGE
This workflow includes a standalone Classic Img2Img branch.
Unlike Krea 2 Edit, this branch uses a more traditional denoise-based image-to-image process. It is generally more flexible, more creative and allows stronger reinterpretation of the original image.
BEST USE CASES
Use Classic Img2Img when you want to:
transform the source image more freely
create stronger stylistic changes
push the image further away from the original
use a normal denoise-based editing workflow
make use of a traditional optional negative prompt
get more creative reinterpretation rather than strict source preservation
Classic Img2Img is usually less strict than Krea 2 Edit when it comes to identity, pose, composition and overall scene preservation.
QUICK START
Enable the CLASSIC IMG2IMG group.
Keep the Krea 2 Edit branch bypassed.
Load your source image into CLASSIC IMG2IMG — SOURCE IMAGE.
Write your transformation prompt in the Classic Img2Img Positive Prompt.
Optionally use the Classic Img2Img Negative Prompt.
Start with the recommended settings below.
Test the base result first.
Enable SeedVR2 only after the Classic Img2Img result already looks good.
HOW TO PROMPT
Classic Img2Img behaves more like a creative reinterpretation workflow.
You can prompt it more openly than Krea 2 Edit, but it still helps to be clear about:
what should change
what style or look you want
what should stay recognizable if needed
Example:
Transform the image into a cinematic portrait with dramatic lighting, richer shadows, sharper clothing details and a more refined facial appearance while preserving the overall subject and composition.
If you want stronger transformation, you can describe the desired result more boldly.
Example:
Reimagine the source image as a high-fashion editorial portrait with luxurious styling, elegant makeup, premium clothing textures and a dramatic studio atmosphere.
DENOISE
Denoise is the main control for change strength in this branch.
General behavior:
lower denoise = closer to the source image
higher denoise = stronger transformation and more reinterpretation
Suggested ranges:
0.25–0.40 = subtle changes
0.40–0.60 = balanced image-to-image editing
0.60–0.80 = stronger transformation
0.80+ = highly creative, but less predictable
Recommended starting value:
0.50
NEGATIVE PROMPT
Unlike Krea 2 Edit, this branch supports a more normal optional negative prompt workflow.
Use the negative prompt to suppress unwanted artifacts or tendencies, for example:
blurry
low detail
distorted anatomy
extra fingers
overexposed
text artifacts
Keep the negative prompt relatively short and focused. Avoid giant keyword walls.
RECOMMENDED DEFAULT SETTINGS
Denoise: 0.50
Steps: 8
CFG: 1.0 or your preferred Classic Img2Img baseline
Sampler: Euler
Scheduler: Beta
Optional Negative Prompt: enabled only if needed
SeedVR2: Bypass during initial testing
OPTIONAL SEEDVR2 FINAL UPSCALE
SeedVR2 is used only as the final stage.
Recommended order:
Classic Img2Img
→ Base Preview
→ Optional SeedVR2
→ Final Preview
→ Save
SeedVR2 may improve final presentation quality and resolution, but it can also reinterpret small details. Always compare the base result and the upscaled result.
Use Bypass, not Mute or Never, when disabling the SeedVR2 group.
WHEN TO USE KREA 2 EDIT INSTEAD
Use Krea 2 Edit instead if you want:
more precise editing
stronger identity preservation
better pose and composition retention
more controlled, instruction-based changes
source-faithful editing
SUMMARY
Classic Img2Img
Creative, flexible, denoise-based and best for stronger reinterpretation.
Krea 2 Edit
Precise, controlled, identity-preserving and best for targeted edits.
@VelvetVice Thank you immensely for the detailed reply. I am more at the beginner/intermediate level, and the sheer volume of available workflows and the complexity of said workflows can be a bit overwhelming.
This really helped, thank you again
@semipro211 Thank you for choosing my workflow, it still needs improvement... everything works wonderfully... but I noticed that when using Autonomvision for a long time, it becomes sluggish... I still need to see what might be causing it. But after a restart or generating directly in manual mode, the system does not slow down...
Anyway... at the moment I'm finishing up Minimax H3 Vision... after that, I'll get to the aforementioned thing.
