⚙️ MiniMax H3 Prompt Enhancer — V7 Turn simple ideas into detailed, structured prompts for MiniMax video generation.
This ComfyUI workflow is a prompt enhancer built around the official MiniMax H3 prompting guide. It helps transform short, rough ideas into clearer and more effective video prompts — without any complex LLM installation.
Supports T2VA, I2VA, FL2VA, L2VA, and REF2V workflows.

Choose the best for your hardware. *MTP models incompatible with the Custom LLM node*
Custom nodes needed (also in comfyui manager):
LLM Text Processor: ⚠️*Must be insalled manually from here, there is a bug for that node in the node manager*⚠️ https://github.com/KingManiya/ComfyUI-LLM-text-processor

✨ What's New in V7
Added a video input node and a second QwenVL node (automatic download on first run for this model) with instructions on how to use.
Backed prompt refining.
Model Change. Now using Qwen3.5-9B-The-Defiant-Fable-Uncnr-Heretic-NEO-MAX-Q8_0. (Download directly in workflow. Extremely accurate, runs fast and easy on 16 VRAM)
🎯 The Goal
This workflow isn’t meant to blindly generate the “perfect” prompt for you. Instead, it gives you a well-structured starting point that you can quickly review, tweak, and customize before sending it to MiniMax.
Simple idea → Enhanced prompt → Your edits → Video generation
💡 Tip: The generated prompt is a starting point. Read through it and adjust the details, actions, camera movement, timing, and style to match your exact vision.
Feel free to use, modify, and integrate this workflow into your own projects. If you create something with it or improve the prompting method, share your results and prompting tips in the comments so the community can keep improving it!
If you use this workflow in your own workflow pack, a quick mention would be greatly appreciated. ❤️

Which folder(s) do i put the Qwen3.6 32B GGUF file?
both files qwen3.6 and mmproj goes into ComfyUI\models\LLM
@KiraNugget i have additional folders, do i drop them in 1 of them or no?
anywhere as long as it is in LLM you can drop in subfolders if you want.
@KiraNugget ok, and there's a llm prompter node that won't install or update.
is this error on my end?
search in manager llm text processor by kingmaniya
@KiraNugget it works. Thanks for your help
@Alkorr64 Enjoy! Post your video result here afterward! :)
NOOO! I merged the files without really knowing what would happen and deleted the old ones thinking the stats would stay.. I lost all the downloads count until now. I just hit 4k downloads for all verisons right before!😭😭

Here are the models needed. I upgraded to MAX-NEO-Q6_K 23.6GB size for use with 4090 24GB VRAM as recommended by AI and it seems to be working. Prompt took 165 seconds to generate.. maybe it was overflowing some from VRAM into RAM, not sure, but Q6 should be smarter than the default IQ2. Up to you and your hardware. I'm not sure if it's the best prompt generator for MiniMax H3. It's the first one I'm trying, but it will definitely upgrade simple or no prompts into a detailed paragraph.
I tried up 2 q6 and on 16vram it's way too slow. q2 gave the best results. definitely beetter than the qwen3.4 4b and 9b safetensors I was using before.
also MTP models were incompatible with the node I use if I remember.
I dropped from Q6_K to Q5_K_M 20.7GB (along with the 1GB mmproj gguf, display taking up maybe 1.5GB of VRAM, etc) and that seemingly fits well into 24GB VRAM. First run was 44 seconds, subsequent runs took 22 seconds each, so much faster when it all fits into VRAM. 24GB VRAM card users, I'd recommend using Q5_K_M 20.7GB version.
@KiraNugget Q5_K_M is giving me good descriptive paragraphs in 22 seconds with 24GB VRAM. I used Google Gemini to help me decide which to use, and I had it score Q6 vs Q5 vs the default IQ2 and it showed Q6_K is near lossless compared to the base model (97-98%), Q5_K_M (95-96%) Very High quality, virtually identical to Q6. IQ2 it says falls off (70-75%) "Falls completely off a cliff. At 2 bits, models suffer from severe token repetition, broken logic, and an inability to accurately parse complex visual details from mmproj" Gemini recommends Q4_K_M for 16GB VRAM GPUs. It's ~18GB plus 1GB for mmproj, so it will overflow VRAM into RAM and slow down, likely around 2 minutes to generate a prompt, but Q4_K_M it estimates would retain (93-94%) quality compared to the base model. If you're getting good results with IQ2 for this workflow and it's fast, that's fine. If there are any noticeable problems, try Q4_K_M for 16GB cards (expect slowdowns, but for better accuracy).
@civitai7_ Other models bigger than Q2 are just not working for me after some testing. It just loads all my resources and it gets stuck there without generating anything.
how did you check which one is best for my system? I have 8 gigs of vram
@Alkorr64 on the hugginface site, click on model card at the top, then on the right you should see a list of the models with green yellow and red checkmarks. Green works for sure, yelloew might work but slow. Also at a glance if the model download file size is 8gb or under it will work
@KiraNugget i don't see any checkmarks
@Alkorr64 you have to be logged in an select what kind of gpu you have to see them if i remember correctly. I think Q2 is the smallest model. Maybe ask chat gpt for llm gguf model you can use in comfyui with i vram
@Alkorr64 With 8GB VRAM, you'll be massively overflow VRAM into RAM and running much slower using any of these LLMs, which the lowest, IQ2, is 11.7GB, plus about 1GB for mmproj, plus you likely have your display hooked into your GPU taking up another 1.5 or 2GB VRAM or so.. You would need some much smaller LLM, which I'm sure there are options, but you wouldn't be getting as good results
Headsup, the LLM node doesn't work and will not install.
https://github.com/KingManiya/ComfyUI-LLM-text-processor here is the github for manual install.
In have it too i have manual instal, per manager it will not work :(
@tomookazaki87856 I don't know what could be happening here. it should be pretty straightforward... :(
@KiraNugget I’ve tried it ten times, but it still doesn't work; it isn't being recognized. The manager keeps telling me to download the requirements—which I’ve already installed—but it still won't work. The video method didn't work either, unfortunately, since the new version isn't included there; it just keeps turning red and doing nothing.
@tomookazaki87856 The comfyUI manager links to a branch of the main LLM-text-processor node (labeled MOD) instead of the regular node. go to the github site (https://github.com/KingManiya/ComfyUI-LLM-text-processor) and follow the instructions to install the "main" node in your custom nodes folder. It's a ComyUI manager link error.
@tricomij380 oh that is good to know thanks!
This is a very nice work, thank you for sharing.
Though please try to reduce custom node dependencies and list them in the description as requirements.
E.g. there is a ComfyUI default build-in Preview as Text node which can also render markdown.
No need to download large bloatware nodes like ComfyUI-utils-nodes and ComfyUI-Pixaroma for rendering a simple text and html. If you want it to be popular, please try to make is as lightweight as possible.
Thank you for your work.
Thanks for your input, I will consider changing them. I just used what was available to me and I had these packs for a long time and just kinda used them instinctively.
Please let me add one more thing which I just found:
1- Expand short concept only, all others disabled -> If I enable only 1st image, then Image Compare (RMBG) 🖼️🖼️ generates a black image -> resulting bad prompting as won't consider input image.
If I enable 2 or 3, then combines them correctly.
I'm not sure, but this may be RMBG node issue. If you can reproduce it, there are multiple image combining nodes out there, including built-in Stitch Images which may work.
Thank you again.
@tsgeza870 I noticed yeah I will fix that! :)
@tsgeza870 Bug fixed and dependencies reduced. Let me know if I missed any that could be replaced. Thanks again for your advices! ❤️
Anyone out there trying to use this with Linux that have been able to get the LLM node to work? Seems like it's officially Windows only :(
Try a manual install with the link in the description, apparently it is an link error in custom node manager
