NeoObscura is a style LoRA focused on expressive, atmospheric and unconventional artwork, blending surreal compositions with graphic novel aesthetics, painterly inkwork and cinematic visuals.

Its signature look combines bold graphic effects, crisp ink contours, watercolor and ink washes, distressed textures, film grain and tactile paper surfaces. Expect dramatic silhouettes, strong contrast, unusual perspectives, selective detail, striking negative space and controlled bursts of color.

The result is artwork that feels like a surreal graphic novel panel, experimental poster or atmospheric concept illustration, with a distinctive handmade quality.

Suggested Use

NeoObscura works especially well for dark fantasy, surrealism, gothic, cyberpunk, science fantasy, dystopian, noir and post apocalyptic themes.

It shines with mysterious characters, masked figures, warriors, supernatural entities, strange machines, ruined cities, dead forests and impossible landscapes.

Try low angle shots, extreme close ups, wide cinematic compositions, vertical poster framing, dramatic silhouettes and extreme differences in scale. Both detailed character portraits and minimalist environmental scenes can work very well.

The palette is flexible, from monochrome noir and muted earth tones to indigo, teal, violet and saturated accent colors.

Prompting Guide

For the best results, describe the artwork's composition and visual language, not just the subject.

Start with a strong focal idea and specify the camera angle, framing, perspective and scale. Tiny figures against enormous structures, creatures or landscapes are particularly effective.

Use visual keywords such as heavy ink contours, expressive brushwork, ink wash, watercolor bleeding, dry brush, crosshatching, screen tones, paper grain, distressed edges or film grain.
