Then install the browser extension, it will show up automatically on upload page, all you need is drop the video (with metadata) and it will fill the forms for you:

More importantly, there is already a PR to add native MP4 and WebM metadata detection directly to Civitai:

If you want proper video metadata support on Civitai, consider leaving a reaction or constructive comment on that PR. A little polite pressure might help show that people are waiting for it.
Hopefully they merge it and this extension eventually becomes unnecessary.

Version 0.6.17
Fixed repeated resources not being added independently to the second and subsequent videos in the same post.
Restricted existing-resource detection to the currently selected video row, preventing resources from earlier videos from being mistaken as already attached.
Changed resource ordering so workflows, tools, extensions, and other auxiliary resources are added before the base model. This prevents Civitai’s compatibility filtering from hiding them after a checkpoint is selected.
Added an original red hexagonal extension icon inspired by Civitai’s visual language.
