I am republishing Glowing Neon Bokeh, a Krea 2 style LoRA by ilkerzgi, so it is easier to find and use on CivitAI. All credit for training, design and the original release belongs to him.

Trigger Word: glowing neon bokeh style
Put the trigger at the very end of the prompt. Always. Not in the middle, not in a tag list at the front.
Recommended Weight: 1.0 (works well from 1.0 to 1.25)
The LoRA pushes Krea 2 Turbo into a glowing neon bokeh look: circular out-of-focus light orbs, creamy defocus, neon spill, and night-atmosphere glow even on subjects that are not “cyberpunk” by default.
Short, simple prompts work better than complex instructions. This adapter was shown on the original card with one-line subjects a portrait of a woman., a lighthouse on a rocky cliff.). Long camera essays, lighting lectures and stacked style tags usually weaken the bokeh instead of helping it.
About this version
This is a community rehost of the original Hugging Face release by ilkerzgi. It is one of the fal · Krea 2 Style LoRA adapters, trained with the FAL Krea 2 Trainer (100 steps, learning rate 3.5e-4) and meant to be used directly on krea/Krea-2-Turbo.
One short scene sentence. Trigger at the end. That is the whole method.
What it does
Glowing Neon Bokeh steers Krea 2 away from a clean, evenly lit render and toward overlapping circular neon highlights, creamy background melt, and colored glow that sits behind and around the subject.
Expect:
- large circular bokeh disks from signs, lanterns, headlights, windows, bulbs
- magenta / cyan / amber / gold spill on skin, wet ground, chrome and fog
- shallow depth of field even on landscapes and objects
- a night-club / wet-street atmosphere applied as a style, not only as a location
It is strongest on short prompts that name a subject and a place. Official test cases on the original card are simple: an old man, a woman, a market street, a stone bridge, a desert dune, a snowy village, a lighthouse.
Trigger Word
The trigger is:
glowing neon bokeh style
It must always sit at the end of the prompt. After the scene sentence. After any extra detail. Last tokens, not first.
Wrong: glowing neon bokeh style, a portrait of a woman in the rain
Right: a portrait of a woman in the rain. glowing neon bokeh style
Do not replace it with bokeh, neon, glow, 8k, cinematic, masterpiece. Extra style tags usually fight the adapter.
Keep the prompt short
This LoRA does not like complex instructions.
Prefer:
- one subject
- one place or action
- at most a light source or a weather note
- then the trigger
Avoid:
- long shot lists 35mm, f/1.4, golden-ratio, rim light from camera-left…)
- tag soup masterpiece, best quality, ultra detailed, 8k, bokeh, neon, glow…)
- multi-paragraph art-direction
- several competing style keywords in front of the trigger
If a long prompt looks pretty but the orbs disappear, cut it down to a single sentence and put the trigger back at the end. That is closer to how the series was trained.
Recommended LoRA Strength
0.8 – 0.9: Mild glow if you are stacking another Krea 2 LoRA, or if faces start to dissolve into orbs.
1.0 (recommended): Full look from the original card. Start here.
1.15 – 1.25: Official upper range. Use this if the base checkpoint stays too clean and the bokeh disks are not reading. Can over-bloom small highlights.
Recommended generation settings
These follow the original model card and the rest of the fal Krea 2 Style series:
- Base: Krea 2 Turbo
- Steps: 8 (Turbo)
- Guidance / CFG: 0.0
- LoRA scale: 1.0 (or 1.15–1.25 if the glow is shy)
- Resolution: official fal snippet uses 1024×1280; short side 1024–1536 also works
Portrait / 4:5 / 3:4 matches the published examples best. A 16:9 frame is useful for streets and bridges.
How to prompt
Pattern:
[short subject]. glowing neon bokeh style
or
[subject] [place or action]. glowing neon bokeh style
That is it. The original card uses exactly this shape. A second clause for rain, lanterns or headlights is optional. A lighting essay is not.

Optimized for Krea 2 Turbo. That is the checkpoint named on the original card.
It can be stacked with other Krea 2 LoRAs, but drop this one toward 0.8–0.9 if a second style LoRA is already doing heavy lifting. It is not a Z-Image / Flux / SDXL LoRA.
