A long-form MiniMax H3 workflow built around the NrdX LMS LoRA, using overlapping generation segments and seamless crossfade stitching to extend shots while reducing visible transition artifacts.
This workflow accompanies the ComfyUI-H3-Overlap custom node.

What This Workflow Does
The workflow is designed specifically for creating longer H3 sequences while using NrdX LMS.
Instead of treating each generated segment as a completely independent clip, the workflow carries overlapping frames between segments and blends the resulting clips together.
The goal is to improve:
continuity between H3 generations
motion through segment boundaries
visual consistency across longer sequences
transitions between individually generated clips
memory efficiency when working with longer video sequences
The included workflow is configured around a 1MP H3 pipeline and includes the overlap/stitching system provided by the custom node.
Built Around NrdX LMS
This is not intended as a generic H3 demo workflow.
The workflow was developed specifically around NerdX LMS and the way I use the LoRA for H3 generation.
NerdX LMS remains the core of the generation pipeline. The H3 Overlap nodes handle the surrounding workflow required to turn multiple generations into a longer continuous result.
If you are already experimenting with NerdX LMS and want to push it into longer sequences, this workflow is intended to provide a reproducible starting point.
How the Overlap System Works
Long sequences are generated as multiple H3 segments.
Before the next segment is generated, the custom node prepares an overlapping section from the previous output. That overlap provides continuity between successive generations.
After generation, the corresponding overlapping regions are combined using a crossfade rather than simply placing one clip directly after another.
Conceptually:
Segment A → overlap → Segment B → overlap → Segment C
becomes:
Segment A ─────╲╱───── Segment B ─────╲╱───── Segment C
This does not magically eliminate every temporal inconsistency produced by the model. It gives the workflow a controlled transition region instead of relying on a hard cut between independently generated segments.
Required Custom Node
ComfyUI-H3-Overlap
GitHub:
https://github.com/MisterAzor1/ComfyUI-H3-Overlap
Install from your ComfyUI custom-nodes directory:
cd ComfyUI/custom_nodes
git clone https://github.com/MisterAzor1/ComfyUI-H3-Overlap.gitRestart ComfyUI after installation.
The custom node provides the overlap preparation and seamless stitching functionality used by this workflow.
Workflow
Included workflow:
H3_Sharpen_Overlap_1MP_V4_Public.json
The public version is cleaned for distribution and intended to be used as the starting workflow.
After loading it:
Install any missing custom nodes reported by ComfyUI.
Load the required H3 models.
Load NrdX LMS in the LoRA portion of the workflow.
Select your input/reference material as required by the graph.
Start with a short test generation.
Once the pipeline is working correctly, increase the sequence length.
Why Use Overlap?
A basic multi-clip workflow can simply concatenate one generation after another.
That works, but the boundary between generations can become obvious.
The overlap method gives both clips a shared transition region. The final stitch blends that region, which is particularly useful when the generated motion remains reasonably consistent across the boundary.
The system is therefore aimed at continuation, rather than ordinary video concatenation.
Memory-Conscious Design
The custom nodes were written with longer H3 workflows in mind.
Rather than requiring an entire long sequence to be treated as one monolithic generation, the workflow operates on manageable segments and handles the overlap separately.
This makes it possible to experiment with longer sequences without abandoning the normal segmented H3 generation process.
Recommended First Test
Do not begin with a very long render.
Run two short segments first and inspect the overlap.
Look specifically at:
subject position
camera movement
background geometry
lighting
motion direction
changes introduced by the H3 generation itself
A good overlap cannot compensate for two generations that diverge dramatically from one another. The best results occur when the model already produces reasonably compatible continuation frames.
NrdX LMS
This workflow was developed around NrdX LMS, and I recommend obtaining the LoRA from its original Civitai page so the creator receives the proper download, engagement, and attribution.

Notes
This is an experimental workflow for people already working with H3 video generation.
It is not intended to guarantee perfect temporal continuity. H3 still determines the generated content, motion, composition, and consistency of each segment.
The overlap system addresses one specific part of the problem: how consecutive generated segments are prepared and joined together.
NrdX LMS handles the generation behavior that this workflow was built around.

a 10 second clip takes me about 30+ minutes to finish on my 4080 without the overlap workflow and nodes, and when using them, it only takes about 15.
I had a similar issue on my 4080 before. Make sure you're only loading the necessary checkpoint and not both. bypass and disconnect the unneeded checkpoint if both are loaded in the workflow.
This works really well and looks great. :D
you can actually prompt some changes to the video as well like the color of an object or clothing or eye color.
