🐚 Nautilus Grimoire v2 📖

Every surface is a story, now in full color ✨

Nautilus Grimoire is back, and the grimoire got thicker 🐙. v2 is still all about one thing: detail. Obsessive, intricate, micro-level detail. This time it pops harder, carries more color and goes even deeper, without losing the look you know from v1.

🧪 What's new in v2

* A bigger, better dataset: 390 hand-picked images, re-curated and re-captioned from the ground up. Weaker images went out, stronger and more varied ones came in. More materials, more ornaments, more surfaces to learn from 📚

* More detail: filigree, jewelry, patterns and tiny features are sharper and denser than in v1. Second look, third look, there's still more to find 🔍

* More color: v2 is bolder and more saturated. Neon, gold, iridescent, it all pops without turning into mush 🎨

* Same soul: lots of comparisons against v1 to make sure v2 stays true to the Grimoire look. Dense, ornate, slightly flat in that graphic way. An upgrade, not a different model 🐚

* A new base: v2 is built on a 50/50 blend of Anima Base 1.0 and Anima Aesthetic 1.1. Base brings the raw intricacy, Aesthetic brings the polish, and the blend keeps both. The style is always on, no trigger word needed 🔥

🌑 The vibe

Dark, dense, a little futuristic. Think ancient grimoire meets deep-sea machinery ⚙️. Every surface gets the detail treatment: clothes, armor, backgrounds, jewelry, tattoos, architecture. It works great on portraits, but it really shines when there's a lot going on.

📌 Notes

* Prompting: natural language works great, and Danbooru tags work too. Describe your materials and surfaces, and the model loves to go to town on them 🧵

* Settings: er_sde / simple, ~30 steps, CFG 4–5, around 1MP (e.g. 832×1216)

* Negative: worst quality, low quality, normal quality, score_1, score_2, score_3, blurry, jpeg artifacts, watermark, signature, disfigured, bad anatomy

* SFW focus: the style was built on SFW images. It's still Anima underneath, so NSFW works, but detail is the priority here.

* This isn't an OctopussMix or a DuckyMix. OctopussMix does the semi-realistic 2.5D thing 🐙, DuckyMix brings back the Pony vibe 🦄. Nautilus Grimoire is the detail lane.
